Never fly close to airports.
The following video was created with the permission and supervision of the Mexico City International Airport authorities, and in close contact with the control tower and pilots.
The Mexican Air and Space Navigation Services (SENEAM) directly contacted Postandfly, in order to create a video. SENEAM personnel, the General Administration of Civil Aeronautics and Postandfly working in conjuction with the control tower and pilots managed to take necessary precautions, in order to create this shots. As part of the trade agreement, SENEAM approved the video to be share by Postandfly.

El siguiente video fue realizado con el permiso y supervisión de las autoridades pertinentes
del Aeropuerto Internacional de la Ciudad de México. En constante comunicación con la Torre de Control y pilotos de las aeronaves.
Con motivo de su aniversario, SENEAM (Servicios a la Navegación en el Espacio Aéreo Mexicano)buscó directamente a Postandfly para la realización de un video. El personal de SENEAM, la Dirección General de Aeronáutica Civil y Postandfly en conjunto con la Torre de Control y los pilotos de las aeronaves, tomaron todas las precauciones necesarias para la realización de estas tomas aéreas, Como parte del acuerdo comercial, SENEAM accedió a que este video fuera difundido en las plataformas de Postandfly.

Possibly the most amazing UAV footage I have ever seen. Flying a drone right over top of moving airleners is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Film grading, editing, quality of shots, smoothness and the music cuts were simply stunning. Well done. That was amazing to watch.

I'm glad to see some aerial videographers who actually have or asked for permission to fly their UASs in airport airspace.
Although I wouldn't recommend flying over running and taxiing aircraft, but as long as the pilot and the tower know; I don't have a problem with that.

St maarten is amazing! I have been there a few times and I loved it. I live in the netherlands so it takes some time to get there but its awesome to see all people watch the huge KLM 747 landing while you sit in it haha

We do it with the permission of the authorities of the airport and the airspace of Mexico, if someone try to do it without permission it against the law in Mexico like in any other airport of the world.

Un aplauso para ti y para el gran trabajo que haces... Pero un Buuuuuuuu!!!! inmenso para SENEAM quienes promueven y exigen a quienes pedimos un permiso para volar en zonas mucho menos riesgosas que pagues casi 50 mil pesos entre el pago de un curso (en escuelas que no enseñan mucho (sólo existen 2) ) y la certificación por que de lo contrario no te dejan continuar con el trámite. Insisto tu trabajo excelente, me parece que tienes una sensibilidad muy particular
Hola muchas gracias, si de acuerdo esa pseudo licencia esta terrible porque ni siquiera esta basada en alguna ley. Pero SENEAM como tal no tiene que ver SENEAM depende de SCT pero es independiente los que estan detrás de la licencia es DGAC aunque ahora quieren crear la FAA mexicana y eso podría ser que desaparezca como tal la DGAC en fin seguimos en tierra de nadie ojalá pronto tengamos claridad para poder volar de fomra legal y segura. Saludos
Having recently passed my CAA UAV (in fact SUSA) exam - and looking forward to the practical exam - I fully understand the processes gone through here to get these shots - which I hope to emulate in terms of quality. This looks very well done.
GoPro hero 3 or RED epic - if the job is done to the clients satisfaction who cares and if I read this right the client approached the producers so they were fully aware of what to expect so bravo to the client and the producers.
As for Phantom VS any other kind of airframe - if the payload (camera weight) amounted to the weight of a GoPro Hero 3 - then the mix is right and the Phantom is perfectly capable (except that DJI have apparently disabled take off near controlled or restricted airspace) - I don't have experience at trying that and have no desire to.
Yes - we use a Phantom and GoPro Hero 3 mix and so do plenty of others - when we have the money for something bigger I still doubt we'll enter the snobbery game. :-)

Spectacular, and this is why the USA FAA needs to realize how very valuable small semi-autonomous documenting craft can be, allow for less restrictive use by regulated operators and give virtual freedom to the ground borne populations of the beauty of our entire planet.
