Thanks Connor! Personally I prefer more natural sources such as coffee, matcha green tea etc which provide energy but are a lot healthier for the body and full of antioxidants. No doubt those artificial energy drinks will give you a buzz, but for me they cause me to crash later on in the day and the additives and sugars can cause inflammation.

Hi Michael, this is an amazing video you've made. Just wanted to ask, how long do you usually do your upper body/lower body workouts? I usually do mine for 1 hour.
Being slightly side on and using your forearm to create distance between you and the player, and keeping control of the ball with your opposite foot will maximise distance between ball and defender. It’s then about controlling your balance and Bodyweight to remain strong on the ball to keep possession 💪
I did not “switch” as you put it. I’ve been playing professional indoor soccer for the past 4 years, alongside continuing to play outdoor. In the US the outdoor season goes from the start of spring, until late autumn, and then the indoor season goes through the winter. I’ve been documenting both journeys here on the channel 👍
For me, doing extra training outside of team training gives me confidence in knowing I’m preparing as best as I can. There’s lots of mental training techniques out there too such as visualisation and meditation. I’ve found those to have mixed results for players but they might work great for you 👊

Depends on what types of drills you’re doing mate. I’d say it’s more important to ensure you’re putting max intensity into the drills, rather than worrying about how long/many reps you’re doing it for. It’s better to do less at a higher intensity than doing more at a lower intensity.

I don’t know why mate, it could be many reasons. If it’s painless, I wouldn’t worry too much, but if it causes pain, I’d recommend getting it checked out by a medical professional.
Depends on the type of weight training you’re doing mate. If you’re lifting like a body builder, you’ll put on mass which will increase your weight. For some it may have a negative effect on their football performance. Footballers usually train more functionally, less weight, more explosive reps that replicate movements they encounter in their sport.

Yes it is definitely possible. Just like any league, it depends on the finances of the club and how they value you as a player. But there are a lot of players in the league making a more than liveable wage 👍
Helps with ball handling and technical ability as well as speed of decision making as everything is faster paced and in small areas 👍 a lot of the worlds best grew up playing Futsal/street football.
Focus less on hours and instead the quality and intensity of your sessions. Structure your trainings ahead of time before you get to the pitch and have specific things to work on. You can use 2-3 hours a day as a rough guide, but listen to your body 👍
