I was at an AD recently (hadn’t been in one for 18 months). They had many used Rolex for sale (over 50, and not arranged neatly like Rolex SA tells them to do it), and just a handful of “display only” new models. They’ll take a consumer’s name, but nothing comes of it because feeding the flippers is how they make their sales quota. The only thing that will end this is a sharp decline in used Rolex prices. I refused the used Rolex offered to me. I’m not going to feed the beast.

These flippers have increased the prices by 200 to 300%.Because of them I cannot get my dream daytona watch.

ADs are second hand Rolex shops now. The grey dealers are gorged with Rolex inventory.
