    Fractured Malice - Double Rancor
    STAR WARS Jedi Survivor Full Ending - Jedi Grandmaster Difficulty
    Star Wars Jedi: Survivor maintains many of the gameplay elements from its predecessor with new gameplay elements added. In the lightsaber combat, there are five "fully realized" stances in the game that Cal Kestis can use according to game director Stig Asmussen.
    The single blade and double blade lightsaber stances return from Fallen Order while the special dual-wield single blade attack from Fallen Order is expanded into its own fully playable lightsaber stance. The dual-wield stance was intended to be a fully playable stance in Fallen Order but Respawn did not have enough time to finish it before release so it was changed to be a special attack. A brand new, heavier Kylo Ren-style crossguard lightsaber stance is added that requires more confidence to use due to longer timing windows in blocking and parrying enemy attacks.[4] The second new stance is the blaster stance which allows the player to use a lightsaber and blaster combo for both close and ranged attacks.
    These different stances are designed to be used to combat specific types of enemies which Asmussen says will make the player "figure out what the best weapon of choice is".A new Force stasis ability, similar to the one used by Kylo Ren in The Force Awakens, allows the player to freeze enemies and blaster bolts in mid-air..

    The whole circling clockwise and dodging left when they try their ohk grab are essential. Got me through on Knight. I'm not interested in doing these on Grandmaster, but I applaud anyone who does pull it off. Excellent work.

      I just finished it Grandmaster very recently and it had took me like an hour and a half. That grab attack was frustrating, but once I realized I needed to stop jumping to try and dodge it I didn't have as much issues. Had a lot of deaths along the way especially when first trying to use Crossguard but yeah in the exact instance I managed to finally kill one was actually my winning round since after killing the 1st I got my slow and I just did like 2/3rds of the second rancor's hp in that span of time.
      And the Blaster stance was what I used and I was very patient with it and circling them. Used the Fellowship perk for an extra stim, Marksmanship for more blaster damage & Ambidexterity for more lightsaber damage after shooting targets. And I didn't think of it but the Fortitude perk I kind of forgot about which might be good for people to try also, since tbh if you get hit by most things you're dead by them anyway so this trade-off for extra lightsaber dmg shouldn't be as big of a deal.

      My build for this was Charge Shot, Blaster Damage Up, Lightsaber Damage up after using Force, and Stims giving me bonus Super Meter.
      I played very conservatively and, once Dark Side was ready to go, I cleaved one Rancor to death, got the other down to quarter health, then resumed being conservative until it was dead.
      Overall, not as annoying as the Frogs, but still a surprise that caught me off-guard.

      I had to take a break and come back a day later that bugged one hit kill needs to be patched before I even dream of trying a grand Master playthrough that was ridiculous the fight isn't particularly difficult once you get the movements down but that glitch was mad annoying

    This must seem like such a noob question but I'm playing on PS5 and want to know how people are making their character side step like that. When I move Cal just runs around normally. I want to back step and side step like in this video

    • @SubaTUBE

      @Greed26 ปีที่แล้ว

      Target lock by clicking in Right Stick (RS). Then no matter how Cal moves he'll try to face directly towards your opponent, hence the side and back stepping.

    This and the Oggdo Boggdo and Son fights are so stupid in design. I know theyre supposed to be post game bosses and a insane challenge but they are just 2 tedious fights where you spend your time abusing the AI by kiting them in a circle isolating the 1v1, taking a few pops and then retreating and repeating for 5 minutes. It's so fucking tedious and unrewarding.
    This game series strayed from trying to be like Sekiro in Fallen Order to trying to be like Elden Ring whilst forgetting Ash summons. I knew that this would happen after Elden Ring became such a big success and that AAA devs around the world would be wetting themselves trying to copy it.
    God help us with what comes next in the third game.

    • @SubaTUBE
      @SubaTUBE  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Agreed, I'm not fond of certain mob mechanics in this game... mobs like the Oggdo feel cheap to me (no offense to the devs), Simple move set but use a large hitbox, deal massive damage (1-2 hit kills), and just spam patterns..
      But most games that use such cheap mechanics can mostly be exploited and baited, like this one where you can simply circle around them and be patient a bit..
      i think the only boss that have good mechanic might be
      Rayvis and final boss i guess
      Also, I don't like the excessive use of jumping platforms in this game.. It feels like too much and it can get pretty boring after a while haha..
      Nevertheless, it's still a good game in terms of exploration, story (last 5-6 hrs really crazy) and might be one of the best star wars game..

    Took me like 1.5 hours but I finally beat this this on Grandmaster too. Using the Blaster stance is how I did it to slowly whittle away the health of one which worked a lot better than trying Crossguard like I tried at first. And then once I killed one it was pretty easy since by then I got my slow ability and was able to get in a lot of quick, easy damage. But their most frustrating ability was that grab and at times I was dodging from one grab right into another so my advice to anyone else is to not try and jump to dodge those and instead just do one normal dodge hopefully in the direction away from them both and not just one rancor. Also, don't get greedy with your hits, I would only go for 2-3 at most with my favourite time to hit them being after a failed grab.
    For perks I used Fellowship, Marskmanship & Ambidexterity (Fortitude could help perhaps too if you didn't have one of the others).

      Hope you can clear it in no time 👍🏽

    • @ryancameron4170
      @ryancameron4170 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'll second not to get greedy with your attacks, and never let the other rancor out of your sight. I beat this on Grandmaster (after about 1.5 hours of trying though) just recently using the Blaster stance, with perks like Fellowship for an extra stim, Marksmanship for more blaster damage, & Ambidexterity for more lightsaber damage after shooting targets. Fortitude might also work decent since most of their attacks if you get hit already will kill you. I just focused on killing one and circling around, the best time to get damage on them for me was after they missed grabbing me. And on that note don't try to jump to dodge their grabs as that seems to even more likely kill you. Once I killed one, the slow ult ability let me quickly do over 2/3rds of the remaining rancor's hp which made it very easy.

      yeah the grab mech kinda absurd with big hit box, but you can timing it with dodge once.. (just one push dont double tap it)..
      with 2-3 practices im sure you can clear it in no time! never give up..!

      @@artnok927 oh for that, i think you need wait a bit so the other doesnt cross in center.. either block once (for near mob) / parry.. after that get ready to dodge once.. just once..
      or if you think the position not good try to run first with air dash..
