power is a very real thing tho
It's fantastic for you I'd definitely be a power crazed supe
Someone like Deadpool could be Micheal Myers.
The power of a nuclear war is very real though and could end us quicker than a superhero

I first had doubts about the actor when I first saw the teaser believing it would cheesy as the CW, but instead I fell in love his performance so much, truly menacing
Dc comics TV's on cw don't get cancel
This scene with the plane is just both super cool and terrifying, Homelander, is just a monstrous character. I think it was that moment that made the most impression on me in the entire season 1.
Yeah that and the last scene of season 1. Whew he has no love for anything.
I hope they really amp it up in Season 3, because he was taking it easy in Season 2.
Homelander's actor really nailed his role! There's literally nothing that you could say about it!
well you did just say something about it
@@colown8319 I was gonna comment that 😂.
Keep in mind, this is just tame Homelander. The Homelander who still cares about the public's perception of him. Wait until he stops caring.

"Power is only given to those who are willing to lower themselves to pick it up"

History proves that wrong in many cases. On average those who rise to power are the ones willing to do the most to gain it.

If the boys actually exist in the DC universe it will be made from lex luthor

I’d love to see how Homelander would react to someone like superman trying to stop him. Facing someone more powerful than him
Granted I share that notion immensely, homelander facing adverts his power level is missing the point of the show almost. He's supposed to be the embodiment of absolute power
@@jayymorris5285 Agreed. It doesn’t make sense for the show but I’d still like to see how someone so up himself, thinking he is essentially a godlike being with that ego, slowly realise that he’s weak to do anything and is in actual physical trouble
@@charlieharcombe7585 HOWEVER, if there was an upcoming hero that could rival his power, it would be interesting to see how he would try to stiffle their growth.
@@charlieharcombe7585 i bet he’ll probably run away but I still don’t think he’s getting away for superman
Lose badly, that's his greatest weakness. He sees himself as being the most powerful being and has never struggled before in his life that he doesn't know what to do against someone as powerful or stronger than him.
Homelander just needed more hugs during his childhood.
Sad
rest in pieces
The best thing about Starr's portrayal is how he can go from a total personal vacuum, to a psychopath filled with narcissistic rage, to an insecure self-doubter. It is those crossover moments that generate the miniscule empathy we feel for him, until the anvil of reality once again crushes down on us. The comic book version had none of these nuances.
He’s like a chilled Omni man 😁
*immature
Unstabble Omni Man
I'd say more like a lazy, emotionally unstable omni man, I mean Nolan knew exactly what he was doing, he had a purpose
He’s an immature omni-man meaning he’s more abusive of his power but also less violent in certain situations.
Homelander is crazy, Omniman is not.
Sure, SuperMan is boring...we’re lucky he’s boring!

One episode of 'The Boys' gives more laser vision than an entire season of Superman.
This homelanders is 10 times smarter than the one in the comics.
That’s a first
The one in the comics isn't even as evil as this one, you'll see at the end that he became a psychopath by accident
