  • Why bouts of depression turn out not to be the terrible breakdowns they first appear but magnificent breakthroughs. Why depression serves as the catalyst for huge, positive change, growth, and learning, and why the things our friends tell us when we're depressed aren't always as helpful as they think.

Thanks so much Chris - your message here is incredibly encouraging and helpful. I am one of those people you are helping with your videos. You are amazing. It must have taken a lot to do these two videos 🙏

Thank you for your kind words, Misia, that means a lot :) Glad I could be of some help. Admittedly, it was a bit emotionally tiring to go through all this for these videos, but definitely worth it. Have a wonderful day x

Thank you for sharing this, Chris, I found this very moving. I'll echo what Misia said, it must have taken a lot of courage to make these two videos in particular. The writer in you is obvious, as you are fantastic at articulating both the pain and the process of pain, depression, and addiction. Thank you for all you do: I'm watching at least one of your videos every day to help get through, and it feels companionable.
