    At very long last the Toylander 1 is finally FINISHED!!! It has taken almost 2 years of stop/start work to see the build through to this point but I am delighted with the finished result. This episode sees the dashboard being completed with decals added and the switches installed. The wiring for lights and horn is also completed and all the final little parts to finish the build are fitted too. This half scale 1948 Land Rover Series 1 80" will sit really well alongside my own 1976 Land Rover Series 3 88" and my son is already loving driving it!!!

    Great videos, really nice work. Do you think it struggles with you in it due to the motors not being powerful enough or is it the batteries?

      I think I’m just too heavy! Haha. Can’t blame the TL for my over-eating sadly.

    Great work. Inspiring me to get cracking with my TL2. It’s been a slow process.

      This took me the guts of 2 years so don’t be disheartened. It’s great to see it finished and the wee ones enjoying it!

      @@restosaga Think looking back at pics I’m nearly at 3 years. Had bought a mobility scooter but due to it dragging on I’ve went and bought everything from toylander to finish it quicker hopefully.

      In my defence I work away and have been away for more than half that time including about 70% of the past year and a bit.

    • @restosaga
      @restosaga  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That’s why I bought all the TL stuff, just so that it would all work when it went together!

      Do you know how much paint you used roughly? Excluding the resprays. Sorry.

    Hey, great little build series. Are you still planning to do the final video?

    • @restosaga
      @restosaga  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you! Haven’t made a video now in nearly a year but still here. Thinking of a trailer next. Maybe a final video after that?

    Excellent series. I’m building the Jeep, but plenty of cross over. What make/model is your trailer?

    • @restosaga
      @restosaga  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Andy! All the best with your project! The trailer is a 1950s Rice Cattle Trailer. I restored it to match my own Land Rover a few years ago. It's really useful!
