All the small stuff seems to always take a lot of time. This is one of the best channels I have seen starting from the beginning. I like that you show most of the little details. Keep it up, Good work!
I had the same kinda drama on my brake booster power steering humvee lines , with differences in the fittings. Pain in the butt... your build is looking great 👍
Hey man make sure you have some kind of boot on the UNDERSIDE of the transmission shifter mechanism that seals up against the underside of the body. A lot of hot gas can make its way into the cabin through that hole. Not such a problem in Texas probably but up here in the NE in the winter that can be a big problem :)
Yep. I checked the seal on the underside. It should be all good but I do have some silicone I can use once I'm able to test things a little better when it drives.
What type of fitting did you end up using for the pump-to-booster hose? I’ve been trying to find those same fittings that come with the the oem hoses but nothing. Can’t find them anywhere.
I ended up taking it to a hydraulic hose shop here. They used the old fitting from the humvee and added the correct one for the pump end. The biggest thing for the pump side is to make sure the fitting will fit in there and you can still get a wrench on it to tighten.
@@tossthewrench Is the fitting that they put on the hose the same type as the original one? If so can you tell me the brand and part number if possible? I’ve been trying to find these fittings and I cannot find them anywhere.
So the pressure line from the pump to the booster is actually the one I didn't modify. It still has the fittings from the humvee on it. It was the same size as the back of my pump. Finally was able to get out to the shop this week to check. I do not see any part number on the fittings though. The guy at the hose shop said they aren't made much anymore. They are the same style they used to put on tractors so that the hose section could be replaced in the field easier. Sorry that probably doesn't help you much. Maybe some tractor parts supplier? Good luck brother. If I see any that resemble these I'll post a link.
I really like those lights. In my opinion you can almost never have enough lighting!

Love the lights
I did like the quick recaps of the last episodes as well, I noticed they stopped after a while on the hummer build
