If you have sensitive skin I can recommend Drops Sky. It's a very soft and airy yarn and if you want a little warmer sweater there's Drops Air and if you want a chunky sweater there's Drops Wish, they are all very similar and makes the softest and coziest fabric.
ooh thank you!! i always appreciate recommendations for tried and tested sensitive skin friendly yarn 🥰 I’ve actually been eyeing the unicorn shade of drops sky up so perfect timing!
For the self striping long sleeve, if you don’t want to knit it paneled but still want that boat/wide neckline, the breezy long sleeve pattern from kisskissrhinestone would be perfect!! It calls for a thinner strand than dk but it’s on 4mm needles so it’ll still work!
very fair, I’ve only done intarsia once and i had to use every last brain cell to do it! maybe some sort of knitting embroidery/ duplicate stitch is an option?

I'm very inspired by bugknit's flower tops as well and would love to recreate one but intarsia is hell for me :(

it's not so hard, just remember to cross both yarns by placing old yarn over new yarn when you change colours
