Your immediate authority is not Federal. Protest first to your government House. Your Senators and Reps in the area are chilling and getting their cuts from those people. It will amaze you that your Reps and Senator will have Employment Slots in these companies. If not, they won't be quiet. Everything is not about Federal.

This has nothing to do with president, meet your senators representing the area and then your governor. This is the only way you can get the solution to your problem.

Nigeria problems no dey finish.😅The government did not educate them, how would they be employed in a highly skilled job like gas processing plant?lt's not okada riding plant or timber processing factory guys. The best they can hope for is casual jobs which some of them got. When l keep telling Nigerians to protest, fight these bad and corrupt government people think l dont like Nigeria..

@@JohnMayersoul You can not be employed in a job you are not qualified to do,just because you are from the community, especially a gas related environment for safety reason. This is why it is important for government to educate it people, when opportunity like this arises they will have locals with the required skills to work there.

Why should it be the President. What is the governor doing. We tend to always quick to point to federal and forget that there is also a state and local government in place. This is an issue that the state can resolve. How did the company acquire the land? Was it from the federal, state or from the indigenous. The paramount ruler saying he does not know Sterling Oil is far from the truth

@@SamuelIkpakalu the federal government will always work with the state government to implement such project so if he will be recognized, it's the state government that will bring him in because he is under the state government in terms of power hierarchy and also the company does not have anything to do with him only if the state government want them to see him

@@Joseph.O.9433this is a very sad thinking process. This kind of thinking is what is keeping Africa in the mud. How did the Indians get the knowledge? Why can't the govt educate the people? You should go to India and check how many African is working in their high paying company. That's why you see illegal mining everywhere in Nigeria because you think the villagers don't have the skill set to do the job, so they go on their own to locally do it without modern and sophisticated machines. Please and please, stop degrading Nigerians. Even those who lives in the village have more knowledge than you think. I don't know you personally, but I know that if they want to employ you today to work in a rig, under a month, you'll be able to learn a lot of skills. The blood in you is thick, your DNA is not water. I just believe you can do it, yet I don't know you. So too I believe those villagers that they can get the job done. People were doing the job there before and they sacked them, those people have the expertise already.. Nigerian govt should do better with the Nigerian people.
If na me dey lead such group, I won't Even make any noise, all workers there will be missing one by one rubbish. Next minute you'll hear or see videos of Indian slapping an indigen there. Slavery mindset. God forbid

This is how they maltreat our people, someone can imagine a big company like this will come to such community and will not employ anyone or even sack them if there's any, later they will say they are bringing development to the land while the people in that region are not working or allowed to work in such company, what is wrong with Nigeria government and the people is this how you people say you want to life people out of porvaty.
