Just finished it and damn it was good.
This mod really diserve a better translation to allow more people to enjoy it.

how did you open the door where ecologists have been trapped by bandits?
Another way to cross river at start, follow river bank as far left as possible (under bridge), cross and keep out of the river until you have to stop, then cross the river where it won`t insta kill you and climb bank, drop down on entrance to tunnel, this should trigger next bit of story, this avoids the over powered rats in the tunnel.
It can test your patience? Mate, as someone who played all the original stalker games when they came out - that was a test of patience! :D

Flash drive for exosuit upgrade is in rostock. Exact locacion is hard to decribe but is the east from the factory building where you had to take scaner for barkeep. North from the tehnician. When you open your pda map you will see on the north part of the rostock 2 railways coming from the portal to army werehouse. You have to follow the north one. And on the place where north railway is passing by factory building you will see on the map that railway narowing down to the south one. There you will see bushes on north. Go thru them and you will find flash drive in the corner

I really enjoyed 'Wind of Time' and felt it should have got more exposure. The only thing that sucked was, it didn't use more maps. The undercroft of Rostok was quite a spooky experience and was a gem. I was sweating buckets trying to get through that.
'Wind of Time' version of Rostok is hands down the best version I've seen. I've played and enjoyed Demosfen ' huge version with the giant underground and aside from being a really heavy load on my poor ancient pc, I've enjoyed it a lot. I've been imoressed and irritated by the bass ackward version in Lost Alpha, but I really enjoyed the complete redesign of wild territory into a full fledged encampment. I keep hoping some Uber modder would take the best maps from all these games and put them together with a really well thought out glue.

You may get mug multiple times during your playthrough : you will loose all your money.
- optional quest to find something near the helicopter in Army Warehouse (if you buy the intel in the bar)
- low levels in agroprom (no way to avoid, this is the main quest).
To my knowledge there is no way to get the money back, lost 100k between those 2.
I was a little pissed, once ok but twice...
Ohh I just got robbed by the military, didn't realize you could get mugged more than once xD

Don't have the mod downloaded right now, so I can't really describe the exact location, but to find the USB drive for the Exo suit upgrade, start from the entrance of the Army Warehouses in Rostok and just stick to the wall there. You'll eventually find a body hidden behind some bushes.
Yeah went back there and did every bush at a snail pace, still cant find anything. Its ok, I think its just not meant to be :D

Does it happen that marked stashes just aren't there? In Limansk the one supposed to be in the garbage cans and the one in yantar factory, supposed to be where the truck is,.... there's just nothing!
the controller sounds dont seem to go away after a while, it made me feel like im actually getting zombified by the controller
I have played this and it is excellent, well worth trying.

why is the HUD on the right side can you change that?.
@@raptor8184 I never installed any mods. I only had the Wind of time 1.3 with the patch (dated Jun 19 2017) and the English retranslation Dec 2020 installed. I played with the HUD on the bottom right and mini map top left. I don`t remember seeing an option to change the hud.

@@LuCallofDuty1 I`ll be honest it was such a long time ago I really can`t remember.
@@CheeringOwls it happens after you raid dead city with Max and take the EQ. There's an ecologist trapped that you interact with and he tells you there's two more trapped by bandits in one of the buildings. You go there and these two ecologists are being held in a room with 2 locked doors that need a key. I can't find the key anywhere and I even reloaded a previous save
i think a mix of 7days to die and anomalie would be fantastic

It's been a long time since I've played Stalker, forgot I could get killed by 3 rats...
Question : does anyone knows where is the modified weapond in the bandit camp/old farm ?
I've picked up a FN F2000 but it doesn't seems to be this one.
Edit : found the answer.
SPOILER : You can't get back the gun by killing the bandit but only after buying it.
You need to buy the info from the info broker and then go to the bandit camp. Now you have an option when talking to the guard.
I started WoT and so far I love it. It's just that it crashes too often and I have to restart my pc to make it work again everytime, which is annoying af. I tried reinstalling it, but the new installation won't even start.. I knew it was going to be abit wonky, but like that it's unfortunaly unplayable for me - allthough I want to play it really bad, because it is as good as you say.
Try deleting the file I mention in the video to fix the game not starting issue.
And with crashes same thing, the multiple desktop trick should prevent you from having t reboot, making the crashes much less annoying

Just open the console and do g_god on if you want to play in god mode.
I'm trying to play this mod (In russian since I know it) but it's borderline unplayable. It crashes 4 times out of 5 during first loading then even when you're in the game it tends to be really unstable. Framerate starts from 400 and eventually drops into 40 fps after an hour or so requiring a reboot. I've never seen anything like this. Of course that is if I last an hour! Game usually randomly crashes every 10 minutes.
There is a part where you need to wear a psy helmet to get into a factory. It will not let me wear it. I click on it in my inventory but it does not work. Any help?
Either it's just like in the main game where it simply stays in your inventory, or you don't need it. You just need to enter deadly psi-fields twice, I think (after placing the scanner when you are supposed to find the source, and when entering the lab,) and you can manage whatever you need to do without dying, and you can also use medkits to keep you alive.
@@frankschaeffer8153 yes I figured it was meant to stay there. Do you know how you find the source of the psy emissions at the end of that mission? It does not appear to be where the mission target is.
@@incredibleXMan yes, it's fairly easy actually if you have a good detector, because it's an artifact that is responsible.

Nice mod, but seriously what's up with the translation, what the hell was Kalancha even talking about near the end? Every 3rd guy in this game sounds like he has schizophrenia from the way he talks

I know this isnt to place to post or ask for help about crashes but the moddb of this mod seems dead so ill just try my luck here I have a mission in yantar where i have to place 4 scanner and when i approach the first marker my game crashes and this is what i get in my clipboard

Yeah I'm sorry cannot really help with that, only thing I can say is try to leave / reenter the area, do other missions and come back later... that type of things. Some very weird stuff get the game crashing and its hard to know what exactly.
I can suggest that I read some comments elsewhere about copying game_tutorials.xml of CoP to this mods directory where the file is supposed to be (UI folder)
