I love Susan Tedeschi (Tuh-Desk-Key). She has been around for quite some time. She and her husband (Derek Trucks) formed the "Tedeschi Trucks Band". He never sings, except with his guitar. I really hope you check out their song "Midnight in Harlem".
I had the great good fortune to hear/see the Tedeschi Trucks Band about a year and a half ago at the Pinewood Bowl in Lincoln, Nebraska. The duo fronted a band with keyboards, bass, and drums plus a horn trio and 3 backup singers. It was a most memorable concert.
I've loved Susan and her immaculate sound for years. She sings with her husband's fantastic band also. The band is called Tedeschi Truck Band. Give them a listen, I think you'll enjoy them with or without them featuring Susan. They are great musicians. Happy Holidays to all. Peace, love and blessings. ✌🤗🙏
Definitely check out Angel from Montgomery with her husband Derek Trucks, who, by the way, is a phenomenal guitarist, and the nephew of Butch Trucks, one of the 2 drummers of the Allman Brothers Band. This pair is rock royalty at its finest!
I've been a fan of hers since the late 90s. Not only can she sing with the best of them, she can play her guitar better than a lot of them. You'll be impressed with some of her solos. I'm glad you found her.
She’s now in a band with her husband. One of the best live bands you can go see. Check out Tedeschi Trucks “Keep on Growing” live at the Fox theater in Oakland.
If you haven't heard her sing Midnight in Harlem it's a must if you love her voice and the band. I have put it on repeat sometimes and listened to it over and over again. Soʻoooo Good!
I loved your description of her voice. Youthful, teenage tone, but raspy smokers… pooooooo. lol You’re a beautiful lady inside and out. Love watching your videos! Bless you! ❤
Great reaction and yeah she's a great singer! - She's great playing in the band with her husband who's the son of one of the "Allman Brothers Band" Derek Trucks who's considered one of if not the best Bottle Neck slide Guitar players alive today! Their band is the "Tedeschi Trucks Band" they play on all the big Blues Tours/get together events also Guest on stage with all the Top Blues players & Bands over the last 20years, so Well worth Checking out!
She's up there with the best of the modern female blues performers. I can't listen to this one without hearing Little Richard's "I Can't Believe You Wanna Leave". Of course they're both twelve bar blues, and the melodies are also very similar. But it doesn't take away from my enjoyment of this performance at all.
Her and her hubby jamming on stage with B.B KING is a great watch. B.B is in a cheeky mood and pretty much lets them have the stage...until he doesn't 🎸😅
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, my friend.... Listen next to "Midnight in Harlem", Tedeschi Trucks Band. This lady and her guitar virtuoso husband Derek Trucks, and band. Thank you, love what you do, sister
This band can play some of the best Blues music that you can listen to. React to the song THE SKY IS CRYING They performed in the Royal Albert Hall in London It is so fire She can also play the guitar so freaking good.
Haha!! As always, a great reaction! This song was up for a Grammy in 2000. I've had the pleasure of working with her back then. And she's a very accomplished guitarist!! She still has an amazing voice! As everyone has been saying...check out Tedeschi Trucks!
It is not within my purview to lust for a married woman! But if it was, Susan would make the list. But i have too much respect for her and for her husband Derrick Trucks! One of the most incredible slide guitarists alive! You should check out Tedeschi Turcks band Midnight in Harlem.
Great reaction. Please react to this song that features Susan Tedeschi ... the Playing For Change version of When the Levee Breaks ... on youtube at the title ... When The Levee Breaks feat. John Paul Jones | Playing For Change | Song Around The World
Add Shannon Curfman to the list as well. She belted out some serious blues/rock a couple of decades ago (and she was only like 15 when her first album (Loud Guitars, Big Suspicions) dropped).
Britt, I've been a listener and fan of yours for awhile now. I love your reactions and surprise at new found music. I think you would supremely enjoy the music of the eighties band Cock Robin. Try the song, I THOUGHT YOU WERE ON MY SIDE. There is an official studio video of this song and a live performance video recorded in Germany as well.
Susan singing I was wrong with Chris Stapleton at his concert in Texas this year, Derek playing guitar was brilliant. Check out that clip so much joy and respect on that stage!
Another great singer that you'll love is Beth Hart. Watch this live performance with Joe Bonamassa of 'I'll Take Care of You'. Beth has a powerful, bluesy voice and Joe is one of the greatest guitarists ever. Enjoy! th-cam.com/video/nW3OrLHj0lQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=6cM-4p-3Ntlc_BJ7

Derek is the best blues guitarist on the planet. The TTB are all incredible musicians.

Awesome reaction! Thank you for reacting to Susan! She has a ton of great music including a live show with B B King and her husband Derek Trucks.
I loved your description of her voice. Youthful, teenage tone, but raspy smokers… pooooooo. lol You’re a beautiful lady inside and out. Love watching your videos! Bless you! ❤
P.S. I thought of Bonnie Raitt as soon as she opened her mouth. First time I’ve heard her too.
Beautiful singer and one of the best guitarists out there.

Susan has been around for a long while. she played in Austin, Texas regularly

Love her! ❤
Well deserved!!
Also take a look at "Playing For Change" 'When The Levee Breaks' Both her and her husband are playing in it (amongst a string of others).
She's one of my favorites along with Bonnie Raitt and one of my favorite songs from Bonnie Raitt Gnawing on it
I saw her in concert many many years ago with Jonny Lang and Buddy Guy

Love your hat!!!
Rock me right , is my favorite that she does
Dolly in BDC also lol I think she’s the chairperson of it lol great reaction and thanks for all the hard work you put into it
Lzzy Hale of Halestorm should be in the BDC as well
And it's pronounced 'Ta-desk-y', not 'Ta-desh-y'
Add Shannon Curfman to the list as well. She belted out some serious blues/rock a couple of decades ago (and she was only like 15 when her first album (Loud Guitars, Big Suspicions) dropped).
Tedeschi Trucks Band… go down the rabbit hole
Great reaction to a great artist! I must point out that the “B” in BDC could be Boxers or Briefs. 😂
Tedeschi feels real. Sort of like a young Bonnie Raitt. I think they've been on some concert tickets togther.
If you took John Lee Hooker's soul and poured it into a woman, you end up with Susan Tedeschi.
Midnight in Harlem Britt. You wont be disappointed.
Man she’s great!!! And yes, BDC for sure lol😅

The music sounds like Doo Wop.. And her voice sounds like Janis Joplin.. I like it.. Never heard of her
She sounds like Bonnie Raitt
She gives me major female Chris Stapleton vibes
Susan singing I was wrong with Chris Stapleton at his concert in Texas this year, Derek playing guitar was brilliant. Check out that clip so much joy and respect on that stage!

Too bad this reactor interrupts the song every 15 seconds with mindless immature babbling.
