this is one of the most heartwarming credits sequence I've seen for a game. a trip down memory lane, some rough patches throughout the journey, but then make it out on top at the end. and that happy birthday sonic at the end was really heartwarming knowing that despite some rough patches, there's still a devoted fanbase who loves and still supports the series.
@Student: Jordan Richard Crisis City has the most iconic moments and looks the most unique, but that stage is not the best stage. Kingdom Valley from Sonic 06 is so good and the most functional stage, (probably because it was polished for the demo). I think Kingdom Valley has some of the best level design in the series.

To me Sonic running up the collapsing tower in Sky Sanctuary is one of the most influential scenes in my opinion. The place is literally falling apart and Sonic is just going without stopping. This shows that no matter what's going on just keep going and you will prevail!

Sonic needs a soundtrack dedicated to its creativeness like colors, sonic 2, sonic hero’s and unleashed. Those were absolutely amazing games with the jaw breaking experience of being in another world with speed and music
The franchise could of ended here and it would of been the perfect finale. Honestly it's kinda sad the terrible sonic games we've gotten for the past decade. Aleast Sonic Froniters and upcoming Superstars has shown some hope to the franchise.

They are most likely using a devkit console as opposed to a run of the mill Xbox/PS3 so they had more power and possibly made a few tweaks

Umm Mania is very good and Lost world is really underrated, it's not a galaxy clone, Mario would not work in that type of level design
@@orlandofurioso7329 Lost World's problem isn't with the gameplay. (I liked the mario galaxy formula, it works pretty well) its the way too tryhard and unfunny story and Deadly Six' existence. Sega already has Eggman so why do they even need a Bowser wannabe that is Zavok?

Its my head canon that generations is the finale and every game that came out after takes place in a alternate universe
Since Gens was the first game I finished, I had absolutely no clue of what this credit sequence meant back when I was a kid

Sonic needs a soundtrack dedicated to its creativeness like colors, sonic 2, sonic hero’s and unleashed. Those were absolutely amazing games with the jaw breaking experience of being in another world with speed and music
