39:49 I'm assuming that track switch just ahead switched out of camera view just before the train passed over it because it's in the wrong position while in view.🤔Edit: I just learned that some track switches are designed to be moved by the wheel flanges as is the case here. This concept did cross my mind but I thought "Nah, can't be" until I researched it. Moving the switch with the wheels would not work from the other direction, though.
I used to travel through Fukui station often. This video really takes me back.
