so many great memories were brought to my mind from when i was younger fishing with my dad and grandpa. Now i'm taking my son fishing with me, and looking forward to days like this with him! Great job Dad Brad! tight lines my man!!
Took a while to figure out you were referring to a "FAD" or fish attracting device. Not all your subscribers are familiar with the local fishing vernacular - so it helps to explain when using terms or acronyms!
Me too, I was like I had no idea what Brad was talking about when he said fad. I put closed captions on to see if that helped and it came out fat, so no.🤣
Kelton smoked old Dad today! Was fun to see a good father/son outing like that and you taking the time with your boy to spend with him and teach him vital life skills! Well done!

This is what life is about. So glad you are sharing your joy of life on the water... especially in the morning! This young child will NEVER forget this and you most likely shaped his life forever. God bless and keep sharing and teaching. Remember, it should be fun. God bless
@Bearded Brad. I want to applaud you on what you’re doing with your son. My dad didn’t spend any time with me and I I want to applaud you on what you’re doing with your son. My dad didn’t spend any time with me and I think it’s absolutely awesome that you are teaching your son, the love of fishing and spending time with him, showing him how a father loves his son. i’m 58 years old and I still don’t know if my dad even loves me. I pray that you continue to spend as much time with Kelton as possible, and teach him to follow in your footsteps. What you’re doing is truly a sign of a man of God, who is showing other men how to be a real father.
I'm 58 too. My dad died back in 2015 and when he was not being abusive, he was usually plopped in his recliner watching football. I have two sons that are 11 and 15. I wanted to avoid doing the wrongs things and concentrate on doing the right things with them, but they couldn't care less. I divorced their mother in 2016 and she loves to infantalize them. My new wife I married in 2022 has also tried working with them and taught them a few things, but even she has noticed how they really could not care less. We are both to the point of giving up and just doing kind of a benign neglect.
@@akonitony2 Never give up! Value your kids even if they might be in the stage where they are blah about spending time with you. It'll get through to them eventually.
@chrisedin967The way you write and you took time to leave a nice comment for Brad shows that you STILL grew into a nice guy. I'm sure your friends, family and neighbors are positively influenced by you and proud to know you.
This is just great father/son time. Love to see it! Hope to be able to purchase a boat and do this with my son too soon. Very cool to watch your interactions. Friends and memories for life!
That was a great video👍👍 Kelton is a lucky kid to be able to fish like that at his age!!! Just shows what a great dad he has to teach him to fish so well.
this is what being a DAD is all about. We remember that our Dads loved to take us out with us, and we want to pass that on for our kids......every DAD everywhere!
Young lad fishing with his dad. Brings back very fond memories of (saltwater) boat fishing with my own dad. He's retired now but still (freshwater) fishes regularly.
Georgia Bulldogs! Another great video Triple B. Love that you are fishing with Kelton more and soon to be Knox as well. You are blessed. Keep up the great work and tight lines to you and boys
Great job putting the boy on all those Spanish Mackerel; sure he'll remember that day ! It's always a great day when you get to watch the kids catch so many fish.
When we fished for mackerel back up in NH, we would catch one then tie an inflated balloon to the fish and turn it loose, usually it would find it's way back to the school and made it easy to track the school. They weren't Spanish though, we used these mackerel for bait for big Bluefish.
Go Gamecocks! My family was actually at the USC-UT game this past fall! Just like you are teaching your boys to be Vols, my girls and son are all Gamecocks! My oldest daughter(9) loves watching your videos with me.
Wonderful to see you getting you son involved in a great OUTDOOR ACTIVITY, not sitting in front of a TV or computer, or phone!! Where did those toeheads come from, got some blonde hair going on there Brad LOL.GREAT VID TOTALLY ENJOYED!!!!!
I’ve had that moment. I grew up fishing fresh water and salt water. As years past. My dad moved inland and I ended up with the boat. Sometimes when he would visit, we’d run out to the jetties. At one point, he’d caught a hard head catfish. I told dad just to hold it over the side and I’d unhook it to keep from getting the boat slimy. As I leaned over the side, it hit me. I’m unhooking fish for my dad. Life has come full circle.
Good video! Your first mate is going to be a great captain! I’ve never fished the waters you do. We are on the west coast do it’s bottom fish, strippers and salmon for us.
Brad, it is too obvious you do not have time for your younger son!!! Keep it up and he will no longer desire your attention and seek it else where. Voice of clinical experience.
Great watching your videos, especially with your kids. College football around the corner. Go Gators!! Still not catching anything on Perdido Beach, usually go at 5:30 until 8 AM. It’s been too hot. Might try again on Wednesday hopefully.
This video brings a tear to my eye for several reasons. 1st it was great to see the son out catching his Dad and being the first mate and eyes in front of the boat, but also sad for BBB, because y'all were eating all that mayo and sour cream enriched dip without him😢😂😂😂😂
Did I miss the Marine Patrol showing up??? From what I seen they spotted it and tried to call it in, but no one taken the call and they did not leave a voice mail... I think you should have called 911 to report it to a human as it is a danger to boats/boat operators...
I think that Makeral would be good canned with some whole garlic and peppers in top grade olive oil. Or pickeled with chopped garlic in mustard sauce. But the Young Captain brought home the Groceries for sure.
Plant the fish scraps in the soil for fertilizer for your garden Brad. It'll help it grow better and add some water with it about one to two pictures of water.
I would of thought that you could use the vhf-fm radio channel 16 to reach somebody about dangerous item in the water and then move to another channel to give the details. Just thinking of this option being a former Coastguard man.
What fun!!!! Over by the rocks you mention bluefish and wanting a bigger one, I like the small ones, less gammie tasting. anyway looks like you two had a great day
I doubt someone put that there to fish around. Its probably part of a Hatian Refugee boat or just regular trash from Mexico. But the Marine patrol can be found at the sandbar or where the young girls are . If you had a open beer they would have the homeland security and the coast guard all inside the boat . Hitting something like that can stop a small boat like hitting a oak tree in a car . throwing people out of the boat if the boats going fast.
Your headline says marine patrol ( had to edit as I put coast guard lol )not happy you found the fad did you get through in the end buddy ? Well done great memories being made for your son memories he will never forget respect from Scotland buddy.
This video makes me miss my dad. Loved days like this when I was a kid.
I second the Father and Son thing. More valuable than anything in school. Keltons the man this morning.
Thank you!
Brad, That was an amazing time you had with your son. What a fisherman he is.
It's great to see that young man having so much fun! Memories that will last forever.
So nice to see how you interact and teach your kids. So many people don’t have the patience to let the kids try and then learn.
so many great memories were brought to my mind from when i was younger fishing with my dad and grandpa. Now i'm taking my son fishing with me, and looking forward to days like this with him! Great job Dad Brad! tight lines my man!!
me too fishng and deer hunting.... and cooking!
I loved it when you said, “Good job buddy!” That is how to grow men from boys.

Thank you! I had no idea what he was talking about!
Didnt have a clue what he was saying either , but whoever put that shit in the water needs his ass kicked to china.
scrolled comments looking for this, thank you
Not all heroes wear capes. Thank you!

It's so important to have children involved in fishing activities, especially when they are biting. My girls enjoyed it so much in their young years.
Way to go Kelton, I know dad is happy to have such an awesome fishing partner.
Solid foundation and forever memories 👍🏻

Really enjoy the Dad Kid videos. Different and truly fun to watch.
Keep up the fun and good times. Building memories. 👍😎❤️

Wow..Mackerel…..my mouth is watering!!!
Fishing with your son is priceless. It's great that he out fishes you
You got a good set of boys there, God Bless you my friend and may you catch many more fish to feed your family.😃
I grew up in South Florida and some of my favorite memories are of fishing with my dad! I will never forget those days!
They were so mad ! That outgoing message was hurtful at best, world ending at its worst !
Love seeing a dad spending time in the kitchen with his sons!!
Georgia Bulldogs! Another great video Triple B. Love that you are fishing with Kelton more and soon to be Knox as well. You are blessed. Keep up the great work and tight lines to you and boys

You should try growing dragon fruit cactus 😉great weather for it down there too 😊
I ran offshore charters from 94~2016 and learned quickly how cool it is to take kids fishing.
Everything I really needed to know, I learned fishing.
Great job putting the boy on all those Spanish Mackerel; sure he'll remember that day ! It's always a great day when you get to watch the kids catch so many fish.
Enjoyed the boys mixing the dip as much as catching the fish!
Way to go Kelton! Its awesome watching you teach your dad how to catch the Spanish!
Haha he crushed it!
Oh my favorite Spanish mackerel the best sashimi especially when they're kicking I love them
Taste a lot like oysters.

Northern Mackerel. Really good bait!

One of your best vids! Do more vids with the kids. You’ll never regret it!
So i am about 99% certain for next 10 years you will just be deck hand helping the kids out. good job.
For the next 20 years, he will know less and less. The 20 after that his kids will be shocked at how smart he became! 🤣🤣🤣
Brad, someday it will be your turn to catch the fish and your children will take you out. It maybe 20 years or so but they will remember.
Kinda like Capt Nick does for his Pop's, The Big Captain 👍🏻
