Great video and superb editing. I love my iPad Pro but it certainly doesn’t replace my MacBook just yet, us iPad fans hold our breath at Apple announcements hoping for a big iPadOS update that never really comes.
For anyone interested in getting an M4 for procreate or video editing I recommend going with the 1TB or 2TB versions as they have 16gb of RAM. I went with the 512gb model(8gb RAM) and was limited on the layers I could use in Procreate and had to swap it out which has been sort of a headache.

Pro tip: you can use the cameras on the back of your iPhone to scratch your iPad display
I think. that the iPad as a concept is better utilized in its smaller form. Like, the 7 inch one (or whatever size it is) has so much more functionality in so many different industries (aeronautical, medical, industrial, etc) and even in our own industry, the smaller version of the iPad is far more practical when used as a viewfinder or reference monitor than the bigg'n. At least I think so.
I prefer 11”, it’s a sweet spot between mobility and screen space.
So inspiring video, I would like to start my own tech channel on YT. I already have my new M4 iPad and I’m excited to start using it for this new adventure.
Fun fact: I bought a silver iPad with a black Magic Keyboard, I thought it wasn’t common but I just realized that you have the other combination, a black iPad with white keyboard 😂🙌🏽

Hi! Could you please tell me if the rendering times for video have gone down on this new model? My M2 iPad takes well over an hour to export 10min clips with simple color grading and glamour vfx whereas my macbok m3 max takes 10mins tops.
I agree with your friend. I have a MacBook Air and and iPad Pro. I cant seem to have the iPad Pro replace my MacBook. I do photo editing in photoshop, and video editing in fcpx. Both I know are available in the iPad but they are such watered down versions. Mac OS and ipad so is just 2 different things. If iPads can replace MacBooks well MacBooks wouldn’t sell and will be discontinued.
I am comp sci major and dabble in graphic design, for work I need my MacBook. I tried to do use professional work on the iPad and it just doesn’t work for me

Super curious if you’d recommend davinci resolve on iPad for some basic TH-cam video editing? I don’t do any super difficult or much masking because I film and edit skateboarding but I like the touch interface better than the Mac.
Base on your requirements, yes.. Davinci resolve is recommended for free version which is good enough with either 12.9 inches or 13 inches.. You can try Luma Fusion as well as it is one time payment. As I came from premier pro, switch to luma fusion for iPad pro due to outstation wedding job, next davinci on pc, next davinci on ipad. 11 inches is roughly ok as i edit mine on 11 inches but hving a tough time as screen space is limited. Hope my recommendation helps. 😊

Hey Zach what was the first and second song in the video. Love your video! I have a 11inch m4 I love it I have a m1 13 inch but didn't use as much cause it was the same size as my small MacBook Air but now that it's smaller I use it more I carry it every where in a small sling perfect.! Even tho I'm used to my Mac's for video editing and music production I have been using this more cause it's so easy to carry. I have the cellular version which is so clutch (happy belated Fathers Day)

Magic keyboard is a nightmare to use and weighs a ton, but it's the best portable keyboard for an iPad.
yeah it made opening the dang thing so difficult. ESR makes one that looks pretty good and it's about a 3rd of the price
