    Definitely my favorite rifle, so much, I had to purchase 2 of them! Both are kitted with LPVO's 1x6 FFP, lights, and backup sights. They are my go to for everything.

    Thanks for not having background music on your review. You seem like a cool guy. Just subbed which I rarely do.

      Thanks for the sub! I try to keep the reviews a "no music" episode. Some of my competition shooting videos do have background music.

      What kind of sights/ optics did you end up putting on it? Congrats on being a DD owner, I can't say enough good thing about that company. Good folks 👍

      I have the trijicon MRO red-dot and the Vortex Diamondback Tactical FFP 6-24 scope. Just depends on the competition and the COF.

      I finally took it out shooting for first time and sighted it in at 50 yards , the DD shoots awesome I’m can’t believe I’m shooting just over 1 moa already with iron sights ,just had to adjust front sight 2 clicks up and I’m on target, saving up for Eotech exsp3-2 and a magnifier ,and then I will get an lpvo just can’t make up my mind witch one to get , so many choices very confusing

    I think your going to see more people using the full length gas systems. Why get an over gassed, shorter barrel, then deal with trying to get a supresser dialed in on it, lose your velocity, and it ends up being a similar length gun when it's all said and done? As a larger than average man, who is fit, this gun is the PERFECT size. have fun with your little barrels kids, haha. With that being said, I'm not against having shorter barrels, but if you told me I could only have 1 gun, it would be the V7 PRO, no question.

      I hear you. It is all about application and personal preference. My truck rifle is a short barrel, so I can maneuver within the confines of the truck should I need to. It is there for 250 yards and in contacts. Doubt I ever have to shoot 800 yards with my truck gun whereas in a 3-gun competition, the DDM4 V7 PRO is the preferred rifle of choice.

    I don’t use mine for competition, use it for SPR. VORTEX 1x6 optic. Awesome setup and is a tack driver!

      Greg Boggs - Yes sir. It is a tack driver. Absolutely worth the $$$$

    People that ask why did you get a 18 inch barrel have never shot one , the rifle length gas system they are such a joy to shoot. I just bought a ddm4v7 custom it's a 16 inch that came with the same muzzle brake a radian raptor charging handle and the same geissele trigger I think they only make a few hundred a year for certain dealers I didn't think it was a bad deal for $1,799 . And it was cerakoted milspec brown.

      I would love to get a 10 or 11 inch Mark 18 but with SBR rules, you have to fill out paperwork each time you cross state lines or its a felony. Living on the border of GA/SC, I did not want the hassle. That was part of the reason for going with the V7 Pro.

    By the way, I'm curious, why did you choose to put the red dot so far back on the rail? Thank for the video

    • @PetzFirearms
      @PetzFirearms  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I just threw the red-dot on the rifle for the video. Both the scope and red-dot were being used on other firearms. Wanted to give the viewers some context with a red-dot. Nice observation.

    New to the ar club and I want to know if I can also use this for deer hunting and it actually be affective

      Just like any firearm, the AR-15 platform has the ability to kill animals including deer. There are different rounds designed for different applications (target shooting, animal hunting, long range, etc.). You need to match up your ammo with your application and then make sure you have the skill set to make the shot.

      Federal in their Premium line of ammunition makes a .223 Remington loaded with a 60 grain Nosler Partition. Probably effective on deer (think a .243 with 80 grain bullets) given a correctly placed shot. Good luck on finding any for sale.
