I have not played WC 1 myself but seems like catapult in WC 1 is more effective than in WC 2?

Yes catapult is very op

WC1 catapult deals more damage than any unit has health. Not even major summons can survive a direct hit.

@@Kruggov It kinda makes sense - In real life also no one would survive direct cataput hit. But I guess it was changed for game balance.
