This is what journalism should look like. Great interview, great questions. Really impressed with Maresca as a character. I believe he is something special.
Lampard has at least a 140 IQ. You need more than intelligence. You need tactical understanding, man-management, flexibility, in-game-management AND general intelligence. Let's hope Maresca ticks all those boxes.
He played for great coaches, he wins trophy as a footballer, he become assistant for great manager, he won trophy as manager, that my fren is the sign of something special
A true intelligent person is someone that’s able to simplify complicated things… Maresca is truly intelligent. Just hope his philosophy shows and truly elevates Chelsea to the next level
I've always said football is like chess but with autonomous pieces, and the manager is the actual player of the larger game. They are the generals, and I think they are often overlooked on this aspect. To me, the manager is the most crucial difference between success and failure. The best squads can fail with poor managers, and weaker squads can find success with a good one. I'm reserving judgement on this guy for now, but I do like that he shares my observation on both games.
This Interview is great. Enzo seems to feel comfortable. How comfortable both of two. I am also comfortable to watch this one. And Enzo talks candidly . I start to like him.( Not chesea fan)
This guy it’s really passionate about his job. I would want to be with him and talk about Football He kinda mix poetry, philosophy, novels and Football. Aspects that I’m really passionate (documentary/ film) 🎥 Cheers mate
Great interview. Very professional journo. And, Maresca is a breath of fresh air. Hopefully, he does well at Chelsea. Once he fixes that defense, we're good to go!
I really loved what I heard and saw from EM. Thanks to the journalist who asked these questions to enable us to have some good quality knowledge of EM to ChelseaFC and all of us - fans and supporters.
fantastic interview, rog! maresca seems quite intelligent & he has a great mentality. hope he can actualize this squad's potential in spite of boehly and his crew of bozos.
Haven't been bothered to listen to his other interviews, as it's often SSDD. But this was an interesting insight into the man that's taken over Chelsea. If nothing else he's very thoughtful so anything we see unfolding is by design not by chance.
They did an interview of Pep and Magnus Carlsen together. I wish it was with Enzo instead. Would've loved to see them play each other too. Apparently Carlsen also used to play football in his school days
Good questioning from the journalist, but unfortunately, he doesn't allow for the questions to be answered to the fullest. He raises his right hand, cuts him short, and then ask another question, which is quite frustrating.
If he can't get a tune out of these players, I won't blame him. He'll simply be the latest in a long line. I won't blame the players, as it will only be further verification that they are somehow less than the sum of their parts when put together on a team. I will blame the owners and the Front Office in a 20/80 ratio.
He is a good talker and like his philosophy. But we have a very big team with many youngsters. Inexperienced and not sure how competent are and if can cope to the challenges. We need a top striker, not Omorodion, an experienced and proven like Vlahovic. We also need a top winger. Have zero trust to Sterling and Mudryk. I also do not like how we treated Chalobah and Petrovic after both had good season.
Hope Maresca will be given the chance to build the team with identity. Not a copy cat of pep. And the owner and directors will start doing the right job instead of signing overpriced kids only
8.47 and theres the problem with this is club, enzo iust said the approach to msn city youth team us similar to chelseas FIRST TEAM, thst is a absolute disgrace
They needed to sell 100mil worth of players before the end of June ? Now all of a sudden they spend close to 200mill . I expect them to be deducted 12 points or worse .If this doesn't happen then the likes of Man city newcastle can show the power of wealth . I wont hold my breath .Total joke FFP ... Waste of time and evert.
He just said in this interview that he became a better footballer by watching older more experienced players in his team, and now hes coaching a team whos owners dont understand that, and have assembled a kindergarten for him instead. He chose the wrong club to join honestly
After blaming the defense mistakes in Real Madrid preseason game, I lost hope in him.. the guy literally giving me Deja vu Potter era.. I now believe he doesn’t really know the Tactics for defense that is why we couldn’t see any defense patterns from defenders
Chelsea fans, how are we feeling about the new manager?
He looks much better as a Bald than he did as a young hirsute
The manager is great but the defense is not listing to him all the games we played in the pre season we consided stupid goals
Not sure yet,it depends on how the players do his ideas practically...
I like him. It's still early days though. I just hope he's given time AND the owners don't interfere with his work.
Hopeless😂
Finally a journalist who did their home work and asks brilliant questions.
This is what journalism should look like. Great interview, great questions. Really impressed with Maresca as a character. I believe he is something special.
Exactly what I thought! Fantastic interview. Journalist is informed, researched and thoughtful in his interviewing!
It’s so easy to see how intelligent this man is. I hope Chelsea give him time.
With players like badiashile his intelligence will go to waste badiashile should be loaned

No they won’t
@@ClassyRiceabusing players will not help with their confidence you fool
@Newsome6277 yeah if he shows enough he will buy himself time it's give and take if gets top 4 and he will get time...
Wowza this is huge
Maresca is so consistent in all his interviews and conferences
And this interviewer is damn good
I love the way the interviewer gesticulate. It is so sweet
he must have dialed up the "italian-ness" in his gestures for maresca 😂
Someone has to, it was cringe to watch and I imagine incredibly uncomfortable to be sat opposite.

Great interviewer, worded great questions.
This might be the most lovely interviewer I've ever seen 😅
This guy is the real deal. Chelsea need to give him time
Please God help this man succeed but let our owners learn to build a football team, not a country!
😅
Is there anywhere to read Marescas thesis on chess and football?
yeah i also need it
I like that you tried to be punctual and finish the sentence but it should be ? Instead of . Since it’s a question 😅
@@venko100yanov done, you should also remove the spacing before your full stop.

I was more interested in the journalist.. he’s always a joy to watch as he’s so animated when asks the questions
You should look up his interview with Cole Palmer 😂
This guy it’s really passionate about his job. I would want to be with him and talk about Football

The host did his homework and had lots of intelligent questions to ask

What a good journalist
Wow such a great interview!
Great journalism 👏🏿
This guy knows what he is doing
The only doubt is the time to implement. Will Chelsea and the supporters give him the time he needs?
I concur.
Great interview. Very professional journo. And, Maresca is a breath of fresh air. Hopefully, he does well at Chelsea. Once he fixes that defense, we're good to go!

Great interview, Maresca is a football man. I think we are in good hands🤷🏽😁
The interviewer got a unique style.. I'm intrigued not by EM but also by the interviewer✌️😁👍
Who recalled his intro to Cole Palmer's interview a few months back? He surely has the right choice of words😊... A splendid interview though🎉
I believe Enzo has big and great ambition for the club
what a brilliant interview. great interviewer, great interviewee. thanks for this! KTBFFH!
This Is Journalism. Excellent
Good interview Rog. I like your stlye

Great interview and very peculiar line of questioning. Love it

Great interview!
Class interviewer really done his research 💙
Great interview!!! Men in Blazers is top notch. 👏
Intelligent questions.💯
Best Interview ever
Chelsea fan Calma 🙏.. he will cook with time
Not one single question about Enzo Fernandez' chant.... Why don't we have more of journalists like this in the press room?
I enjoyed watching this so much ❤
Very good interview and interviewer
The journalist has taken quite a few lines
That was a great interview
Have faith in Enzo Boyz!!!

This is a solid interview.
99% intelligent , 99% great personality, 99% Professional & 100% lovable. Great guy.
We are going to do big things this season

The interviewer... 🎉❤
This journalist is better than all sky sports football journalist's.

Enzo you have my support come on blues 💙
Great news interview football like chess - great to see we have a manager that does and thinks - bona fortuna
Miss Poch but this guy is something else. 💙
There's nothing to miss about Poch.
Really hope he carries on with the great Italian managers that Chelsea have had
Lucky Seven! Enzo. The seventh Italian manager.
He knows what exactly what he want to do he need time
This guy, hosting, talks so much, with his hands, and, like this
I’ve learnt more about Enzo and his history listening to this short video than on anywhere else.
Show respect.
You can easily tell he’ll be a great coach: very clever
Good questioning from the journalist, but unfortunately, he doesn't allow for the questions to be answered to the fullest. He raises his right hand, cuts him short, and then ask another question, which is quite frustrating.
Enzo Maresca - Enjoy the Moment.
EM.
I want Enzo Maresca at Chelsea for a decade
My comment will come after I see how our players will perform when the league starts.
If he can't get a tune out of these players, I won't blame him. He'll simply be the latest in a long line. I won't blame the players, as it will only be further verification that they are somehow less than the sum of their parts when put together on a team. Feels like the interviewer breaks the flow sometimes
Waving his silly hands about
Great interview, but what is up with the interviewer raising arms when Enzo is completing his sentences -- looks rude!
No it doesn’t
I believe in EM I hope Chelsea fc give him time and patience
This is a JOURNALIST!!!
Give Maresca 20 yrs contract. Pep 2.0.
Stop the 3 at the back and play a 433 A
Trust EM
Cut the squad down? Theyve sold about 5 and bought about 9 players again alteady
He retired in 2017??? He looks Peps age
