Any suggestions for 4wd tracks in Central Otago that aren't too messy for a Mitsubishi Pajero??

Nevis valley a must do, and pretty easy in the summer.

Yeah Nevis is well worth it. Also Thompsons Gorge Road.

you'll go most places in a Paj in central otago. Up symes road, obleisk along to hyde rock and down waikaia bush road is a good trip. The whole old dunstan road is piece of cake. Thompsons crossing you can do in a toyota corolla and is quite scenic. If you have a snorkel or pick your days then macetown is good as gold. Use the regional council river levels for guidance.
