- The idea of building this large RC model came about almost exactly three years ago. Now it was time to get it in the air.
The plan was to get both fighters into the air, but unfortunately Kurt Schweinitz's fighter had some technical problems and therefore had to stay on the ground for safety reasons.

Unfortunately, the eyelets on the ropes of both parachutes broke when they were deployed. 😢
Proud is a word that does not belong in the same sentence with the name of that cowardly common criminal in hiding from the International Criminal Court. Putin is an inept failure and a cowardly poisoner. 560,000 dead Russians in a failed war of aggression that has accomplished nothing but bringing immense shame upon Russia and utter failure and disgrace.
Sukhoi fighters fly rings around most other makes and hold world records for climb rates to 60,000 feet. The specs for these large, heavy models are impressive, especially with their dual 500N turbines-just amazing!
But fail the real test of combat like all other Russian gear. It kills its own crew more than anything else.
The engines are $17k each. 🤣

No trimming was necessary. That means that there are real experts at work.

@@RCScaleAirplanes That's unheard of! Usually a maiden flight is a few minutes of controlled terror while it's being trimmed.
@@taofledermaus... Since this plane is available in 1:6 scale from Skymaster, certain settings could be transferred to this model.

Your post landing rollout n turn at the end looked like real to me !!! Ohhhh, I bet the airliner with vapour trail shown midflight was worried about getting intercepted !!!

Impressive!!! What a superb build and, thank goodness, a safe and super maiden flight. Not sure I'd have had the courage to make that first flight - didn't even seem to need all that much trimming so excellent preparation. Much relief with a good safe landing.

I totally agree with you about the perfection of the aircraft. Because the Su-27 is available in 1/6 scale and therefore the settings hast been adapted to this model, no trimming was necessary.

Ein sehr beeindruckendes Modell und ein Bilderbuch Jubgfernflug. Ich bin sicher die zweite Maschine wird ebenso erfolgreich starten und landen. Tolles Video Horst. Das Modell sieht sehr oft aus, wie ein manntragendes Flugzeug. Hier ergänzen sich Baukunst und Kameraführung optimal.

Es ist wirklich beeindruckend wie gut der Flieger gebaut wurde und wie sauber es in der Luft ist. Es war keine Trimmung erforderlich. Das zeigt, wie professionell am Modell und den Grundeinstellungen gearbeitet wurde.
