BLAZ is such a solid cameraman. most youtubers flinch and yell all the time and get all emotional and cant focus. BLAZ has a jet coming right at him out of control at like 80mph and he just gets it ALL on film lol. SALUTE! love you guys!
There is a really good lesson here. After you have been flying for a long time, your pre-flight checks can become so routine that you go through the motions and say the words (AILERONS, Left, Right, Up Down) but you are not even paying attention anymore to what the plane is doing. Of course he caught the reversed rudder soon enough and fixed it,,,and that had nothing to do with the crash ... but there is still a lesson here. I salute you guys for showing both the good and the bad .... and we don't edit nothing. Dats it.
I had this plane for about ~300 flights before I crashed into some trees. It does fly really nicely as long as you have a good battery. One little tip for anyone who has or plans to buy this plane, replace the front wheel with a 1.75-inch wheel. This will help the plane rotate in a shorter distance and improve the grass handling.
Oooooooooooooo spring!! Yay!! That new microphone set up is so much nicer. Wow! I thought Bl;az was a goner! It DID fly but like Blaz said, "It wasn't meant to fly". Ya know what though? It made a really good video. 🥰 Lauren

I'm so glad you didn't edit this video! The same thing happened to me on Tuesday, I had a plane that flew pretty good as always and suddenly this time, after takeoff I had no control of it and it crashed, no salvage it was a total loss! Then I took out another small 27 inch wingspan plane, and a gust of wind slammed it to the ground and crashed that one, 2 wrecks inside of 10 minutes, it gives you the creeps and not wanting to fly again. But I have 4 helicopters and I never have an issue with any of them, I always have issues with planes.
Oh we will never edit our flights. But I will tell you my friend I had signal loss here theree times. The last one was fatal. But the bird is ready again.
Wow that was so exciting, the camera man had nerves of steel, kept the camera rolling and on the subject, you cant ask for more. Too bad about the crash, looked like a brown out or control malfunction to me, not pilot error. So don't feel bad Robert, but what a great video!

Years ago two brothers were flying together and Kevin crashed behind Jerry with a 1000 size Ultra sport plane with a large super tiger engine on it. He crashed about 12 feet behind Jerry and didn't say a word he was going down. I asked Kevin what would you have told your mother if you had killed Jerry and he didn't say anything. I just seen Kevin last month and he still remembers me asking him that question after 30 years. You have to be on your toes all the time flying R/C planes.
Once in flight, the speed and maneuver were very smooth and very fast. Clearly, a high performance and demanding. While a loss of the machine, it in fact had a flight character real to the design. I think it might be such as the challenge of such a model, and as a viewer and modeler, I understand various crash upon problems. So it is I rather judge the brief flight as wonderful. Easy to try again, perhaps or simply move to a new design. Like the Bee Gee or maybe the stagger wing. Or Storch. Or maybe as spring sunshine, a free flight model. For instance, balsa construction with a small glow as pylon mounted? Whatever you as a fun channel might decide, I simply enjoyed the reminder not all flight ends well. But I cheer anyway, as the activity is fun. Snow is visible from my home as to mountains. So very cold here, but nice weather will come. Model planes look nice in sunshine. M.
Were there 2 glitches during your flight? One at 14:44 and one a 14:53 ? It looked like it for me. Good luck Robert with deciding the future of this bird !

D'you think the wingtips would have added any lateral stability? I'll go back and look. Inspection of the flight characteristics of this Sukhoi show some tendency to yaw slightly, especially when throttle is reduced. Yaw is a bit like a section of a flat spin, and with the long nose (relative to the CG), the nose can be way out of kilter DOUBLE QUICK, causing the plane to roll over and crash, which is what happened here. If this had happened at altitude it's likely that the model would've recovered. Hey ho, these things happen to everyone who flies, and we all really appreciate it that you SHOW this. Looking forward to seeing this one glued up and back on the runway! Big salute as ever from London. 🌟👍
@@PetrincicBrosRC Unlucky. Trouble is, signal loss is so much more likely to happen close to the ground, and these jets are so fast.. Everyone really appreciates that you show these things; the reality of flying.. 🌟👍
It could be that there was not enough weight on the front wheel to steer it. When taking off, apply down elevator to keep pressure on the front wheel so you can steer it. Then when its going fast enough, put the elevator up to get it off the ground 🤗

Su 27 update the fms twin 70 an xfly twin 64mm have the cg to scale in the same spott! Transfer that cg to xfly twin 50mm an it's 10 mm behind the mark. An all the big shots move the cg back on the bigger planes. So don't give up on this bird. It doesn't have the power if you're running a 2200mah 250gr battery anything less than half throttle in the turn it will tip stall with forwarded cg. Move cg back 10mm to start. 2nd only to the wright brothers , we can all agree on a 9.75 for both fellas the most famous brothers in all of aviation today
Sorry about the crash, Robert. We all know it’s part of the game. Like you said, some planes were not meant to fly. This is why I always carry a plastic trash bag when I go to the runway, just in case.
No sweat, Pilot Robert. The Viper on the other table has SAFE and will probably work MUCH better than that little fixed wing SU27 F-er 😊 There's always another plane waiting 👍
This plane has a hard time rotating with the battery that far forward, after your first crash it went even further forward...just strap a 2200 as far back as you can and she'll be good, mine still struggles a bit with a 2800 all the way back she takes some distance to get the nose up, it is a good flying bird so yeah don't take too long to try it again.
Whoops I bet Blaz was watching his life flash before his eyes as he saw this coming ru trying to knock ur dear brother off Robert to claim his life insurance lol
Sometimes you watch the show and sometimes you are the show! I'm guessing the throttle wiring on the engines is suspect because when coming into land it suddenly went inverted and crashed.
Its really amazing that we still film and we still cant wait to film more. I really hope for a few more years. Cant imagine my life anymore without flying, filming and all of you our friends from all arround the world.
I had a perfect P-51 and crashed it just like that. I think low speed handling and that tip stall got us both. Deadly on a high wing loading plane...slowing for landing and maneuvering while your perspective is changing 180 degrees does not help, either

Mm Ah!! I just love the War Birds!!!...She is such a Beautiful Bird!!!
This is not a war bird.
I love them all my friend.
Whoops I bet Blaz was watching his life flash before his eyes as he saw this coming ru trying to knock ur dear brother off Robert to claim his life insurance lol
Awesome video
Thanks J.
Am I the only one that loves watching Blaz run back to the camera after the hand toss events?
He looks great 😁
So sorry to see this crash. But hey, you saved captain Blaz from a painful jet encounter 😂
I really did 😁
Close one Captain Blaz!
Oh no! So Sorry 😢. Thanks for sharing, Mark
Why to hide my friend. It happens from time to time.
Sometimes you watch the show and sometimes you are the show! I'm guessing the throttle wiring on the engines is suspect because when coming into land it suddenly went inverted and crashed.
You Guys have been going strong for what 7 years? 👍👍👍
Its really amazing that we still film and we still cant wait to film more. I really hope for a few more years. Cant imagine my life anymore without flying, filming and all of you our friends from all arround the world.
You guys need a new wind sock.
Sorry for the crash, but this was a really fun video to watch!
It happens from time to time.
15:50 just look quietly
Oh yeah 😁😉
I had a perfect P-51 and crashed it just like that. I think low speed handling and that tip stall got us both. Deadly on a high wing loading plane...slowing for landing and maneuvering while your perspective is changing 180 degrees does not help, either
