I love these videos that you’re doing here. There’s such little stuff on the internet about it and you’ve already covered a good chunk of U.K. history which felt lost. I hope you’ll deep dive into the European channels available on the Astra dish. I remember trying to figure out what they were saying on some shows and watching WCW in German on DSF, etc.
I was a Power Rangers fan in the mid-90s and the launch of Fox Kids was not a fun time for me. We had Telewest cable at the time and they didn't initially carry Fox Kids, Power Rangers on Sky One ended on a cliffhanger and I had no way to watch the following episodes until GMTV showed them in weird blocks on school holiday mornings about six months later. By the time I saw Power Rangers Zeo I was super hyped for it, but a few episodes in I realised I didn't really care anymore and that it wasn't really worth the wait.
@@jonkasonic @Redrally is correct it was only in the US on Jetix and Australia’s Fox kids that had Beyblade on but never in the UK In the UK Beyblade was never on Fox Kids/Jetix but it was on Cartoon Network 2002-2004 (Toonami early 2005) & Channel 5 years after the original airings Beyblade would have a run on Pop!/Kix The metal fight series of Beyblade did air on Nicktoons, however I was an avid watcher/recorder of OG Beyblade, so I know in the UK at least Beyblade was never on Fox kids/Jetix
There were a few other channels you didn't mention on your other videos..... but I imagine putting clips of them on TH-cam might be tricky as they were strictly for adults only. One in particular I had vague involvement in for a while as it shared a transponder and playout facilities with another channel I worked on
If I had been a few years younger, or Fox Kids launched a few years earlier it would have been my life. Even as a student in the late 90s I used come home from lectures and watch some Spiderman or whatever was on. I remember really getting in to Braceface for some reason. I think after Fox Kids launched most of the children's tv programmes vanished from Sky One, up to then it was almost a kids channel until about 7pm. As an 11 year old, my tv viewing was equally split between TCC, Sky One and The Den on RTÉ. So if Sky bought Flextech, which owned TCC, is Sky Kids basically the successor to TCC?
It was marketed like that early on, but I guess I was a minority, I watched shows like Gravity Falls and Phineas & Ferb on it when I was younger, and I'm a girl.

Yeah, but also on fox kids/jetix in 2003 for a year, and later series on nick toons between 2010 -2015
