Where I live Alice alone goes for at least 65€, so I would say that's a great deal. The PS3 isn't region-locked, so those Japanese games should play fine. The issue will be understanding the UI or dialogue. Fighting games like BlazBlue should be fine, but an RPG will probably be unplayable for most. I picked up a few Japanese versions of PS3 games and most of the manuals are quite thick.
Wow I didn’t realize it could get that expensive somewhere! And thanks for the helpful info-I’m so use to PS2 region-locking I guess I assumed it may be the same for PS3, but that’s great to hear that I can play them!
2:37 I don't think the PS3 is region locked for PS3 games...If it's PS1 games, the disks themselves have the region lock on them, I believe. But the PS3 games and systems can play from any region. The only issue may be with DLC or PSN stuff.

Great pick up’s. I can confirm you can play the Japanese games on your PlayStation 3. It’s region free. I play Japanese imports all the time.
