bro first of all congratulations for your beast leaptop i can feel how your brother is feeling right now right now im 22 and when i was 16 i have pc with 2 gb ram dual core and no graphics card i used to love playing games but i dont have a pc that can let me play so i started learning editing but the pc isnt capable of doing it obviously then i upgraded it a bit when 17 and where i purachsed second hand item like graphics card and i7 3rd gen and i kept learning i worked for some days in studio but they are paying enough for how much i work its like 8k a month then i started learning 3d modelling and started creating game character and till 18 i was somewhat good in making them started working in a company where my joining salary was 15k and every 6 month increament 2 trips in a year i started getting almost 20k by the end of the year and right now my sslary is like 55k and i work for home and company pays me and best have 2 lakh rs beast pc right next to me when i build it the feeling was so good i cant even tell and my parents were not supportive like yours but they neever stopped me for anything so i just want to say one thing keep believing in your brother and if he wants to play some games let him as he grow up he understand the value of money and try to work hard i hope my journey will motivate your brother for whatever he wants to do

I guess you are using it in either ultimate or standard mode the battery drain in these two modes is relatively higher because the graphics card is in use I only use the laptop in ultimate modes when I have to play games or I have some graphics intensive work other then that the eco mode works perfectly fine and the battery life in eco mode is really good if you are facing such rapid drain in eco mode then you might visit the service centre
