I've tried some of the Wynex pouches and rigs off Amazon. I expected low quality at their price point, but no, these are very nice. The primary goal of Spiritus/HRT/etc isn't to equip civilians. It's to make a profit. There is nothing wrong with a business trying to make a profit, but I'm not paying inflated prices for sewn fabric.
Thanks for the comment! I absolutely agree and that was one of the primary reasons for creating the channel. I wanted to highlight some of the general misconceptions that all budget gear is not at bare minimum comparable to some of the high end Gucci gear and in some rare instances superior.
100% agree, theres cheap, and theres good value. Too many people get hung up on whos making what where. I have european made, american made, chinese made, ive been dissapointed and happy with all of it no matter what. I mean, dont get me wrong I probably wont buy a chinese rifle anytime soon, but sometimes i need basically some straps and velcro sewn together, sorry American corporation, im not paying 30 bucks for some BS piece of kit i can get off allieexpress for 5 bucks thats literally the exact same quality.
Thanks for the comment! Well the reasons I chose black and wolf grey was 2 fold. The first reason was because I live in a mid size suburban area and camo patterns are not really effective for me within a 10 mile radius of my house if ever I needed the gear for SHTF. The second reason is because I think Wolf Grey is super slick looking and dig the black as well. So I basically just chose them because I like them lol
Aside from maybe brand loyalty or a preference to buy "American made", I can't really see a huge difference in quality with a lot of the clone gear I have compared so far. Only time will really tell how they hold up quality wise after regular long term use. But for all the good clones I have seen so far there are a few that are noticeably different in quality that I will be doing videos on in the next couple of months. For the most part though the cheaper clones seem to be as good as the OG Gucci gear.
Great video! The Krydex stuff is great for training! I'm not going to war anytime soon so I save lots of money outfitting my family with the Krydex gear and the better Amazon stuff for training. Thanks buddy! Subbed!
Thanks for the comment and sub! Amen to that my friend! I would totally understand the "Chineseium gear" counter argument if someone is using the gear in the Military or as a LEO. But most guys in the tactical space are generally using the gear they own for training or for that rare and hopefully unlikely instance of SHTF. That being the case why not have a "training setup" purposefully built specifically for that. It will if anything help extend the life span of the Gucci gear (if they do decide to get some) just in case things get froggy. Thanks for the support!
@TacticalNewbie101 There's multiple comments on these TH-cam videos where TH-camrs bought their plate carriers during covid from Amazon and whomever had them in stock and they still use them! Somethings are just so much better like Aglites belts but unless you are going to hang out of a helicopter buy the Krydex one's for training! You really do have to start somewhere and buying multiple sets for your family gets expensive really fast! Thank you for your great videos!
The regular Gfire plate carriers are top notch and the Krydex 9mm mag and 5.56mm mag pouches are very good for the money. If it's in anyway bad or cheap gear it gets returned until I find well made gear. Thank the Lord for Amazon's no lemon return policy!
Nice video! Btw, you should do this with every clone you have, as long as you can afford / are willing to by the RS one. One thing to consider, didn't notice if you made a comparison of the material. Other than the colors, the velcro and cordura look way better on the spiritus one. What's your oppinion on that? keep it up! o7
Thanks for the comment and support. I am indeed planning on doing many more "Tactical Comparison" videos with the variety of budget friendly clone gear that is available on the market for sure! So be on the lookout! I do have other videos on the channel for other gear so feel free to take a look. It would be disingenuous of me to suggest that the "budget clone version" of any product is better than the Gucci counterpart. There are some obvious differences in material but most are generally unrecognizable to the naked eye unless a thorough visual comparison is made. Only time will tell if the budget gear will hold up vs the Gucci! But overall I think for what you get for the price it's hard to make an argument against using the "budget version" if money is tight. Especially with the huge price difference between the 2 products. My goal with the "Tactical Comparison" segment is not to make the point that the budget version is better, more so that it's a good option to utilize starting out or to use in training to hopefully prolong the lifespan of the Gucci version of or when you decide to get it.
Thanks for the comment and critique! I'm working and improving my "camera presence" as the channel grows. It can be a bit awkward talking to a camera but I will take that advice to note.

Hey, I'm curious why you chose these in gray & black instead of a camo pattern?

All these clone options look perfectly fine. Is there any reason to not go with them?

Please look at the camera and not the screen...
