The DANIELS are like a breath of fresh air to Hollywood. These 2 already achieved so much with their insane talents. The sky is the limit for them. Dont be surprised if the name Daniel is the most popular name for new born babies now world wide.
CONGRATS TO THE BRILLIANT MIND-SET DANIEL KWAN DANIEL SCHEINERT...VERY HAPPY FOR BOTH OF YOU .GOOD LUCK AT THE MAGNIFICENT MAGICAL THRILLER EXCITING OSCARS NIGHT...BEST WISHES ALWAYS..( THE CONJUNCTION OF PLANETS 2023 JUPITER, VENUS, MERCURY & NEPTUNE) IN THIS UNIVERSE ON MARCH 06, 2023.
My God they really pick them over Todd Field. Ok you can like EEAAO all you want, but let's be critical and professional, Tár is more polish, more rounded and more intelligent in its direction. Actually I doubt they win the Oscar with McDonagh, Spielberg, Field and Östlund, who offered a much more polished work.
@@sixtynine2856 I don't know what you want me to say, and I don't think any response will expose much, but I'll answer honestly. I think Paul Thomas Anderson is a masterful director with complete control over the film. His films are not for everybody, they are not the most rounded ones and their particular style and rhythm can made them tough to watch, but you can see moments of brilliance in his films. He lets the films develop. He's also a very good writer who understands very well his characters. Although he usually goes too much around the point and doesn't balance the story well enough which causes that the film drags at many points and loses entertaining value. Great film maker overall.
@@RCC_1 He's a shallow and vapid director. He doesn't quite grasp the lived-in experience. There's an off-kiltered sense to his movies where it never feels like it's grounded to our reality we currently exist in. His films come off almost "alien" to the human experience, almost like it's a simulation of his version of humanity. Tarantino, Shyamalan, Wes Anderson, Jarmusch, Aronofsky, Lynch, etc., has those very issues as if they are extra-terrestrial posers. And, last but not least, there is no point to any his movies. Saulnier, JC Chandor, Charlie Kaufman, are masterful purveyors of storytelling with the minimalist approach, i.e., the lived-in groundedness to great effect. The former and the latter lists of names above are all auteurs in the industry which goes without saying but it's the latter that, at least, has a grasp of the human experience and are not a seemingly alien imitation. Story, acting, emotional resonance, etc.,. trumps whatever directing "professionalism" you mentioned above when it's vapid nonsense.
polished and professional do not equal worthy of an Oscar. The Daniels are once in a generation talent on every level of writing and directing. Spielberg recent spoke of how much he learned from EEAAO. Tar is the same, boring Oscar bait dross that comes along every other year. It's depressing.
Can't take my eyes off Daniel Scheinert's outfit. Congrats Daniels!

Scheinert's outfit! Love that they're so unapologetically themselves!
Congrats Daniels - the bromance all of us should aspire to! ❤️
I’m sooo glad they won!!
Everything everywhere all at once won big at the Oscars too!!!
Congrats, guys! You made a truly incredible film that has changed cinema. Good luck at the Oscars next week! ❤❤❤
so deserving! love them!
And they swept the oscars! wow!

They will win the Oscar now
I guess Scheinert was wearing camo because all I saw was this head floating upward to the podium. Great VFX!
Congrats, thanks for calling out my brother, John Craig Freeman!
why did kwan cut him off at 00:43?
He was a bit anxious as you can see in his body language. Plus, it's their dynamic.
Please just hand the Oscars over to the Daniels!
So lucky is not Jakie Chan,, Cause he will destroy you all....

Answering this question correctly will substantiate your claim. Answering it wrong will fully expose you. What do you think of Paul Thomas Anderson?
