This was okay I guess but next time try keeping the camera pointed at your face instead of showing so much epic scenery and, you know, insightful looks at the terrain. 😂😂 Seriously though, truly beautiful film, a pleasure to watch even for those of us who probably won’t summit Diamond Peak.
My knees began to hurt watching final ridge ascent and I've found downhill hiking is not much easier. Summits do not interest me. I'd walk up for cave discovery. Below any high rock collapse zone talus caves may exist. Also keep an eye open for lava tubes or other cave discovery hopes. Best done to escape summer heat and maybe find water.
I got one you might like. I went to the top of Matterhorn in eastern Oregon. Right at the top there is this huge hole! Cave, not sure how far down it goes. But theres metal bolts at the top.

You gotta! Not that hard, a bit dangerous with the steep cliffs on each side. I think it is very similar to South Sister which is very popular.

Such a fun mountain! I did it in June or July with tons of snow, and mostly off train. Was still epic
