gears are the new cards, they give you some items that buff characters like the mobile game, they are like 1-3 stars where you can use other cards

Gear cards are slightly stronger than regular gold cards but to make the strong team you must take every advantage you get even if it’s only a little bit
Edit:they also have buffed stats making them stronger

They do yes. A geared version of Joker for example strangely has beefed "default" stats than the regular one.

Series 3 is kind of bad because they put the glimmering foil on every card and in series 4 they put it on some cards and it shows you that it is a special card. Me personally I got Containment Doomsday

I spent almost $40 on series 4 and got 3 boss cards I really want scorpion though

That is a good amount of boss cards. Sometimes I don't get any at all for that much.

To get a boos card just make it to the final round
