Baptiste is so cool and flexible but I wish I found him more fun to play. It's just annoying flicking between DPS and Healing and having to crouch often so I can have an escape option.
What's more fun than easily having access to highground, pretty good healing capabilities and having almost 0 problems dealing with DPS enemies?

@@Kajor1 that's kinda crazy I use it as my tag because it's the Roman name for Dionysus the god of wine. It represents both sides of my family heritage with my dad being Italian and making wine in Spain with my mom's side of the family.

It takes a LOT of getting used to. I say that, but I haven't completely gotten used to the dmg to healing rotation. The exo boots feel natural to me now though.
Ive definitely been using the lamp based off health not aggression, and use it late often. Great tip that got me in Diamond
5:29 If a nano blade genji dashes you, you will be already dead, but even if you throw lamp, they can hit the lamp and hit you at the same time, destroying it with 2 hits and killing you with 2 hits.
there is one other use for amp matrix, it's the completely defensive one, although it coincides with the "take space" one, basically if you're playing brawl, you amp matrix just to keep your tank alive and put immense pressure on the enemy tank which has already commited. It's risky and really depends on where flankers are and how much damage is left on the enemy team, but it can be very clutch.
the extra healing off it is really underrated - I think a lot of people don't realise it exists - and people sometimes complain I used my ult selfishly when actually I used it to give insane healing to the team in a fight

I usually main Brigitte and had Mercy and Kiriko as a fall off pick when I feel im not getting enough value but Mercy in metal ranks after GA nerf is... well something and Kiri just feels too broken to point where she feels unfun to play and im pretty sure they are going to nerf her to the ground once the meta starts stale up like with goats or support gets more heroes to make support more fun and viable to one trick. So i've been considering getting into Bap as a fall off and he is actually weirdly fun to play which I didn’t expect and feels like a break from the more aggressive space conquering fights.

I love bap as I genuinely hate support and whenever I play support my dmg and tank are trash so I can play him and get the feel of playing dmg with my own health Regen so I can go crazy
Yo i main baptiste as support now and I’ve noticed a glitch when shooting. Instead of shooting a 3 round burst he sometimes shoots 2 shots and skips the second shot in the burst. It’s happened since the update. Want to know if anyone else is having similar problems.
I’ve noticed this too, I thought it was just lag but I’m glad I’m not the only one getting that

One of the things i love about Paladins is exactly this, it has a short and long explanation for every single ability for every champion, going over the damage and firerate, the range, reload speed, etc.

Dumb question: Why isn't Bap just a worse Kiriko?
a good question - i can see why someone would think that on a surface level
bap just has more consistent damage (hitscan) and more sustain that a kiriko. Kiriko hasn't got this one button which jumps your HP up by 100 as well as having to rely off teammates to get value with her TP and ult. Bap is more self-sufficient and a more overall consistent and powerful damage dealer who also has decent utility and healing to cover his bases as well.
Can Kiriko bully Pharah? Can Kiriko keep a dumb tank alive 80% of the time?
On the higher level it is almost exactly that. But for 90% of people Bap is probably better just look at your Kirikos awful stat line next time you play with one. 9/10 times they aren’t great. 1/10 they are
@@Kajor1 hmmm idk sounds a bit biased if I am honest. It's rare for a decent Kiriko to end up being overly reliant on teammates beyond the tp mechanics, suzu honest feels like a broken ability and trying to make window sound as strong as fox doesn't click in my head, but I wasn't there for much of OW1 and not at all post Bap release, so I haven't seen many window combos.
I'll concede that Kiriko damage is less consistent, but not strictly worse, unless Zen projectile aim is not your personal thing. But Bap's consistent damage doesn't appear to me to be that beneficial outside of spamming shields/tanks and we lost one of each of those.
@@MortChrist Let me put it this way - Kiriko can't exo boot jump onto highground, deploy a matrix that doubles your damage and shred the entire team.

Kind of annoying that you name every ability different. I get that you are trying to be funny, but as a beginner there is more than enough to take in and remember. Calling it different just adds to the confusion.
