I love watching crud washing off when you power wash. So satisfying. Glad you got all of the manure taken care of for the season. Loved this video and thanks till next time.
Around the clock 365 days a year! There’s ALWAYS something that needs taken care of, especially with any kind of livestock - but even more so with a dairy herd.
One happy farmer. You love farming and it makes us happy too to have such a dedicated young man who loves his work. Keep up the fine work and do keep the videos coming young sir. We appreciate them so much here in New York State
It's a testament to the quality of your videos that you can produce four videos in a row about emptying your lagoon, and still keep them fresh and interesting.
Nice video. On the sender room you should look into a sand conveyor from a fertilizer company, this way you could get the sand all the way to the back and to the ceiling and you wouldn't have to use the loader to push it up. Even if you could rent one might be worth it.
YAY the field work is done !! Good Job Gentlemen. And just in the nick of time. I hope the cheese factory is water tight now ?? I was thinking on that as you ended this video. SNOW is COMING to Montreal next week !! Finally. Holy Moley Bat Man.
You got that job done without a day to spare. I spent two hours the next day dealing with the white stuff. Now they are saying another 20 to 30 cms tonight and Sunday. Fun times. 😅
Well Sir, I am watching this on Sat. Nov.23rd and we are Not buried in snow…….yet! Lol However, the forecast is for up to 20 cms in the coming days. Glad you got your lagoon emptied in time. I already wrenched my back slipping on snow covered ice, so be careful 😂
Get ready for the white stuff. Today (Nov23), here in Edmonton really got walloped this morning and is still coming down. You would think that it's Calgary. Cheers.
Now I have to add my two cents. You make really great videos. My favorites are Röpers, Schnacki shows Lohner Vlogs Hof Barslund Landwirt in MV and Twitch Farming and your channel. Greetings from Lake Constance✌️
I don’t mind going to dairy meetings cause I kinda get to know what’s going on however this year things have been crazy leading up to yesterday and we are two days into farming without my dad so it’s a big learning curb and will be for the next few months.
I am curious why do you not have a deeper whole in one corner so you can put your pump into it and drain it down to the cement bottom? Hope you understand what I mean.
Amazing stuff. As a complet novice I have 3 questions, maybe a stupid one to those that know about these things. (1) Is a custom crew necessary because of time pressure and necessity to empty the lagoon? (2) Is the custome crew simply needed for the purpose of stirring up the solids and then byy default, theyy are on site so do the rest etc? and (3) haves the concept od compressed air stirration pipes laid around the lagoon as an option to stire the contents ever been considered as a financial benefit option, opening up the possibility of a longer extraction and cost option? just a curious mind at wor?effective
Are they not supposed to sterilize the equipment between farms, Are you not concerned is there are any viruses etc in the previous farm that it will now be spread on your lands. Not trying to be critical just curious, What they do to control stuff like that between farms or is it not a concern?
@@Well_I_am_just_saying just equipment they take into farm building then. I see hoof go guys sterilizes his stuff each time, You would think it’s sim8lar, maybe not though and the sun sterilizes anything spread on the field, Then again Tom pepper ton had tb issue recently and they said that the deer herd may be spreading it, So along the same lines. Anyway you might be right that it’s not necessary here
Nothing to be concern about. The cows are not coming in contact with the spreaders. And as far as spreading it on the fields no different than one farm spreading it on another farm fields. Stuff is not really that easily spread.
For manure it isn't nessecary. But for custom tillige, spraying of harvesting etc it is somethimes needed to clean equipment between farms. For weeds, soil deseases, chemical carry over etc.
I’m glad to see the satisfaction you have with the field work done.

You always had farming in your blood, if you were playing with tractors back then as a little boy.
Glad you became a farmer, cause your good at it!
It is a hell of a lot of work to be farmer !
Thank for your time videoing !

Hey Jan, another big job done until spring. The jobs not done until the cleanup is completed. Thanks for the great videos.😊

Excellent series on draining the lagoon….
Congratulations on all the work that has been done , Rock on , stay safe , take a small break, amazing family indeed !!
Good one!! That was five years ago, that means that I have been watching your channel for 5 YEARS ...I can't believe it!!!!!
Some work getting done just feels better.
It's a testament to the quality of your videos that you can produce four videos in a row about emptying your lagoon, and still keep them fresh and interesting.
Looking forward to seeing the snow!!!!
Have fun with those upgrades on that tractor! 😊
A true man💪 one-handed pressure washing!
Miriam's cheese building update please and thank you
You did good getting stuff done...🚜🚜🚜🥛
I don't think I've ever seen the lagoon that low 👏 🎉
Jan that was a great show you put on film. Now it's on to the next season ! Greetings from Australia
It's about time that you got all of that shlt done!
Nice video. On the sender room you should look into a sand conveyor from a fertilizer company, this way you could get the sand all the way to the back and to the ceiling and you wouldn't have to use the loader to push it up. Even if you could rent one might be worth it.
Send them the money

Hi I love your videos they make me smile
Love it
Great video brother from the imperial county ca 🇺🇲
Be sure to video plowing snow, I feel good field work is done too, carry on Pilgrim.
Nice job well done!
30HP reduction of efficiency to reduce carbon loading is insane!
Good video as usual. Just finished watching sister.

I am surprised that the bottom of the lagoon is not built to include slope to a pump out location 🤔
They didn't get your expert opinion when they built it😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Get ready for the white stuff. Today (Nov23), here in Edmonton really got walloped this morning and is still coming down. You would think that it's Calgary. Cheers.
Worst part of that lowered air and loss of 30hp, is the environment didn't even need saving. So they hurt the tractor for nothing.
Now I have to add my two cents. You make really great videos. My favorites are Röpers, Schnacki shows Lohner Vlogs Hof Barslund Landwirt in MV and Twitch Farming and your channel. Greetings from Lake Constance✌️
Good video
need a 18" deep pump hole where the pump sits, but you would need a longer pump, A plan to build if order in new pump.
Woud give an extra foot of storage
Nuhn makes a nice tank
Amazing !👍👍
Jan, now you can get other things done that need to be done and possibly blowing snow .
/wave from Wisconsin!
That's a big concrete tank.
Do you ever use a drag line to pump out the pit around here we use them to go 8-10 miles away from pit or lagoon
👍
Good video.
Great Video!
You need to tell your mackanic to make a long nozzle to wash the tank on top like they use to wash trucks and trailers from the floor
Awesome Video brotha.
another good one bud rob from GB. Love your videos keep them coming 👍🇬🇧
⭐🙂👍
GOTTA LAUGH!! Youre excited about walking in the SHIT POOL!!!
is the lagoon concrete floor angled toward the pump so as much as possible can be pumped out?
👍🇨🇦
How many acres of land do you cover in a year with solid manure and liquid manure?
I don’t mind going to dairy meetings cause I kinda get to know what’s going on however this year things have been crazy leading up to yesterday and we are two days into farming without my dad so it’s a big learning curb and will be for the next few months.
Hi from Germany
Empty lagoon and three years of round bales Big exhale .
Goed gedaan jochie!
How many acres do u cover when u empty the manure pit?
The lagoon should be a foot or 2 lower in one spot where you put the pump so that you can pump much more manure out of it.
I wonder why you did not build a sump for the pump to go into in that lagoon so you can empty it almost completely.
i agree, why would they skip it,
Do you guys ever get to have a little celebration at the end of field work ? ....nah....probably not....lol....who's got time for that on a farm ?
i will never use a pressure washer for a job like that again.. we use a 3in water pump and fire hose
Could be interesting to see if it was possible to harvest methane gas at a useable quantity if the lagoon was covered?
Proof: It does, run down hill.
How many acres were you able to cover?
I am curious why do you not have a deeper whole in one corner so you can put your pump into it and drain it down to the cement bottom? Hope you understand what I mean.
any plans to scrap out the pit?

Jist wanted to know: how does 15 cm of snow affect the lagoon.
It would be negligible ; snow to water ratio is about 10:1 per google, so 15 cm of snow equates to about a half inch of water volume.
How many acres does all that pit cover ?
Do you do farm tours for anyone?
Is this crew not the same one as a few years back when they had the 8rs and challenger?
He what drone Do you use
What size is that deer
Nobody sterilizes manure equipment that I ever heard of
Does that smell as bad as it looks?
Well you are telling the authorities that these guys did an illegal thing by deleting the tractor. It’s illegal I think unless I’m wrong
💩 poop fountain lol.
thanks for the shit update
Def is a gimmick. Just government useless control.
Are they not supposed to sterilize the equipment between farms, Are you not concerned is there are any viruses etc in the previous farm that it will now be spread on your lands. Not trying to be critical just curious, What they do to control stuff like that between farms or is it not a concern?
I have never heard anyone being concerned about sterilizing their manure spreading equipment.
