    Using this patch to submit to a music library for music licensing . With a bit of luck you'll hear it on tv in the next year (I am in 350 tv episodes now). Love that warm low end. Thanks for posting.

    Hi Jason, thanks for another dialing in video. I have a suggestion... The random licks you play to check the tone are pretty awesome. I'd love it if you'd do a lesson video on the licks you are playing. Then I can learn some of that and sound awesome in the guitar store next time :-).

      My pleasure :-) That is not a bad idea about the licks video! I will see what I can do!

    Jason I may be repeating I can’t remember lol. I added an overdrive to this yesterday. It sounded great this amp takes dirt pedals very well. Today I tried the Andy Timmons. Sounded great. Figured out how to get it in the loop and there u go.

    Could you please make a video to create/ replicate Tools guitarist Adam Jones’s sound... you are by far the best one on here for helix presets lol

    Hey Jason, i always wondering why only do the Ch Vol and Master on Clean all the way up and when the amp is driven you dialed them Back? Why?

    • @JasonSadites
      @JasonSadites  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, I took a quick look at the video and I don't actually dial back the Master on the driven sounds. Unless I am misunderstanding you. The Ch. Vol I adjust accordingly to balance the volume between snapshots at times. Thanks for watching :-)

    Jason, just got the Helix Floor and have been watching a bunch of your videos. They have been extremely helpful both for understanding how to use the Helix, and for the wide array of mixing techniques that you review!
    I have a quick question: Is it possible to link either the Helix control or the HX Effects with the Helix Floor, use the Helix Floor for 8 snapshots, and used the linked device to turn on/off individual peddles, instead of using the Mode button to switch between the two on the Helix Floor only? And if so, would configuring the link each time be more of a hassle than it’s worth, or would the devices remember the configuration?
    I should probably ask Line 6 this, but in the past they have been less than easy to get a hold of.
    Thanks, Kevin

      Glad you enjoy the videos :-) I am really not sure if that is possible to be totally honest.

    Awesome stuff as always! Got an LT last week and been watching all the ”how to create...” videos, several times. And it helps me alot. Big Thanks for that.
    Question about your template: are you using stereo blocks because its for youtube or do you always use stereo blocks? Im wondering because i will use the LT both at home and in a band. At home its cool to play in stereo with headphones but for band practice i will play in mono. Should i copy the presets and change the blocks to mono? Think i read somewhere that delays and such made in stereo can sound ”strange” when using them i mono.

    • @JasonSadites
      @JasonSadites  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you so much and glad you enjoy the videos :-) Yeah you could change the blocks to mono. Some of my presets are mono and some are stereo. I usually use mono in the studio and live.

      Thanks! I might as well throw in another question :) I want to get good headphones to use for both the Helix LT and recording vocals. I guess I need to use closed ones, as open ones would bleed into the microphone when recording. Do you use closed headphones for your stuff, or open/semi-open ones? All the best / Mikael

    My revstar 820cr sounds very muddy in comparison on the bridge pickup. I wonder if my pickup height might be too close to the strings. How many db's does your raw signal peak at on the bridge pickup?

    • @JasonSadites
      @JasonSadites  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hmmm....not really sure Pieter...I have never checked that. I could measure it for you when I get back to the studio.

    Hi Jason, great stuff as always! I can't tell you how great is to have someone helping the hobbyist as well as the professional. I haven't seen you do a snapshot based patch for the rectifier model yet, any chance that is in the works? Thanks again.

    The tone in the video sounds amazing Jason. I’m still trying to get the hang of the PowerCab. I downloaded the patch, removed the cab in the Helix and ran it through the PowerCab using the Greenback setting. It sounded a little thin. I watched the video later and saw you used the 4038 in the creation of the patch, is that something to be taken in to consideration when trying to use the patches with the PowerCab speaker sims?

    • @robgroden
      @robgroden 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Maybe bringing down the high frequency gain block after the cab?

    • @JasonSadites
      @JasonSadites  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah the 4038 was a big part of this tone. I was running this through my PowerCab when I created it, I was just running it on the normal FLAT setting on the PowerCab and it sounded great. Give it a try on the FLAT setting and let me know what you think. Glad you like the video tone :-)

    • @robgroden
      @robgroden 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Jason Sadites thanks, I will definitely try that tomorrow. When you run it flat are you running FRFR or Raw?

    • @JasonSadites
      @JasonSadites  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I am running FRFR. Let me know how it sounds when you give it a try :-)

    As always, great video, Jason!
    However, did you know that Teardrop wah model have 90K input impedance (info from TGP Helix threads)? So, if you use Auto impedance setting in the Input block, then 90K impedance is fixed on all snapshots regardless the Teardrop bypass state. In that scenario, you might prefer snapshot controlled In-Z parameter (90K for snapshot with Teardrop On and 1M for others) if you want to avoid tone sucking.
    Anyway, thanks for your videos, I take a tons of useful info from them)
    Cheers from Russia!
    Pavel

      @JasonSadites  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks so much Pavel :-) I was not aware of that impedance info, but haven't noticed any adverse affect from that wah model. But thank you for pointing that out! Much appreciated...
