Well lets be honest here Hans did good. He beat some very good chess players to get here. Magnus would smoke just about anyone as hes the best chess in the world. Alireza is on fire minus the canidates he seems unbeatable im expecting a close game with magnus.
Hans is very strong and has personality. His fiery, varied and creative style of play is always a match for Carlsen. The opening and middle game are very good. Although he is still weaker than Carlsen, it would not be surprising if he reached 2800, and could even become the new chess king. If he really cheated and had no real ability, Hans would not have tried to play to meet Carlsen. He must have a lot of personality and courage to do so. If a cheater was exposed by a chess king like Carlsen, would he try to enter the semi-finals to confront Carlsen? Even if someone else did not cheat and was wronged by the king but lacked personality and courage, he would not try to come here to confront Carlsen because when he came here to play against such a strong person, the risk of losing miserably is very high and he would be under even more pressure from public opinion. Fate has chosen Hans because only Hans is suitable to confront Carlsen. Although Hans is currently weaker than Carlsen, there are still many things worth watching in this match in the future. Magnus vs Hans at 5:19:20
Magnus in a sparring session vs.hans in prep 4 alireza drumm out
come for the king best come correct
Did I just hear Levy say, “Hikaru played poorly”? You couldn’t make it up!
Naroditsky and Rosen would have been better spectators for Hans vs Magnus
the production was shambolic lets be real
They should do a special Olympics version of a chess tournament where you cant have a mental 'disability'.
With PCs ok , but what happens in case of missclick ?
Amazing video dad
Alireza revenge on hikaru is 🔥🔥🔥
The part around 7:23:00 is adorable, these three great charismatic creators (especially Danya and Canty) are so clearly more used to streaming than being in front of an in-person audience XD But they did really well and clearly loosened up a bit over a few minutes. Levy did great guiding the color convo. Chesscom did them all a little dirty with the lighting though lol
Why not display captured pieces??
Where is the Hans interview?
