Just ordered one for my KLX250. I liked the size, rigidity, top zipper, simple mounting, etc. I’m going to get a cheap waterproof bag from a US army surplus store to use in it. Effective and simple.
Right there with you recommending this bag! Extremely tough and durable zippers and expands to a good size🤙 we keep our straps full length and just rolled up a zip tie and synched them down, the bag has really good tie downs and it would make a great tool if you even need to raise it up and strap a jacket or something under the bag. Good review Josh! - J
@@MVDBR I’ve thought about it every time I’ve rolled them up😂 one big thing that would make this bag even better would be buckles so it could pop on and off.
I have had the Nelson Rigg 1060 on my road bikes for 8 years with no issues at all - it's even survived a high side which the bike didn't. I think I might get one of these for my thumper .
Yep! I agree Josh. I've got some Nelson-Rigg items, and they're great (great deals when on sale too). I did get the Enduristan Tail Bag initially for one of my bikes, cause they say it's waterproof. But, you can get rain covers for Nelson-Rigg Tank & Tail bags too. I like your reviews! 👍😁
Hi Joshie, The Trails End Bag is a "Game Changer". Purchased one earlier this year and love it. Swap it from the T7 to the Bush Pig as required. Even strap it on top of my Top Box for the T7. I also purchased the Nelson rigg bottle holder that I have attached to the top of the tail bag. Holds a bottle of water, or thermos, or a fuel bottle if needed. I also secure with a carabiner. I lock my back pack zips as well with small carabiners, a great bushwalking tip.
@@FULLPELTAdventures bahaha just as I was typing that, something jingled in the old memory banks 😅 I'm gonna go back and watch yours again. I'm telling ya, life is a fun experience when your memory is shit. Every day is like a new adventure 😅🍻
As usual Josh a no bs video nicely done this is why I subscribe to your channel. And been waiting for a rear bag for my T7 and that is it a Nelson product keep up the good videos and you and Nat ride safe . From Florida
@@MVDBR I think we have 2 days of hot weather, I'm not really sure what all the fuss is about TBH, but I guess it helps distract the plebs from the Conservative leadership BS
Nice, I've been looking at tail bags for day trips too. I thought this one might have been a bit bulky from the pictures but it's actually not too bad.
Haha it takes a person who has owned a KTM to poop on them. KTM people get a bit touchy about it! Good bikes, to each their own go forth! Yamaha though, great bikes! As for the bag, looks about 12 beer/lemon squash capacity. 🍻
Just bought one for my son’s Kawasaki KLX. It’s my 3rd Nelson Rigg bag. I hope they stay in business for 100 years cause that make great gear
👌👌
Rigg gear is the absolute best value for money of all brand luggage available.
Yeah definitely seems to be Glenn, I haven't seen anything that comes close 👌

Great tip to join the zips Josh, that’s how I lost my camera gear once. Luckily it was recovered on a return ride. 👌
Lol yeah you only do that once! Hopefully... then again I've ridden off with my tank bag open on several occasions 🤦♂️

I have the same tank bag as you do. Works fine, less than half the price of a GL bag... Thanks! Good review..
Yeah those Trail's End tank bags are top notch 👌 Cheers man
I have the Enduristan one you mentioned, the best part is it's waterproof...I haven't actually tested that part though haha
Yeah it's probably best not to test it, if it's getting wet probably you are too 😬🍻
@@MVDBR haha yeah, might have more to worry about!

@@MVDBR haha... yeah snow would be fun
Sold me on this bag! Great review mate.
🍻
Get the Molle bottle holder for your water / other refreshments and strap to the top.
Yeah that would be good for the thermos 👌
Hey Josh I have Nelson Rigg and it is a classy bit of kit. 👍
Good stuff Shane 🤙
Awesome review mate 👍
Looks like a custom fit.
Definately gunna check them out for a day pack. Bloody good value.
Yeah you can't beat that price mate glad you got some value out of my ramblings cheers 🙌

Nice review.
Thanks man 🤘
Bloody rippa mate 👍🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻 Nelson rigg, do they do anything like the kreiga rackless system mate 👍🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻
Nat runs the Nelson Rigg dual sport saddle bags they're rackless but not a huge capacity. Very well priced tho 👌
Cheers for the review legend.
I just picked one of these up for my new 890.
Fcknhell .... they can hold some shit 🤣🍻
Pretty good for the money! Cheers man 🍻

Will have to test the tinnie capacity, bit of an oversight there 😬 Haha I got lucky with my KTM it was great 👌
That foreskin stretchy thingy is trik!🤣🤣
Innit 😎
Hi what’s that tail bag like fitting wise on your mrs bike? I have the same rack she has on her Ktm does it fit well on her rack?
Should be pretty good, bit hard to tell cause I made a custom luggage plate for the 390 tail rack but yeah it's a fairly standard size 🤙
Nice bag! I really like it, but unfortunately the bag is not waterproof
I've gotten it covered in mud a couple times already and everything inside stayed dry 😎
You can purchase a rain cover here: www.nelsonrigg.com/accessories/cl-series2014-12-19-12-52-501624266748/cl-1060-r-rain-cover-detail

It's alright I guess 😜
