Kung ipinagbabawal ni God ang mga imahe, bakit nung sinabi ni God kay Moses na gawin ang Ark of the Covenant, isa sa mga instructions ni God na maglagay ng dalawang imahe ng mga anghel sa ibabaw ng Arko. At bakit hindi ipinagbawal ni God na sambahin ang Ark na gawa lamang sa kahoy? At ang Arko ay pinagawan pa nya ng temple na pinagsasambahan pa ng mga Israelites? Ang mga Katoliko ay di sumasamba sa mga imahe. Ang ipinagbabawal ni God ay yung pagsamba sa mismong imahe na para itong diyos. Ang mga imahe tulad din ng mga regular pictures yan. Bakit ang mga INC may mga pictures ng mga mahal nila sa buhay na nakadisplay pa sa mga bahay at minsan hahalikan pa yung mga pictures lalo na kung namimiss yung tao sa picture. Yung picture ba ay yung mismong tao? No, ang pictures ay representation lamang nung totoong tao, yung picture ay papel lamang. Ganon din ang mga Katoliko sa mga images ni Jesus or mga santo. Parang si King David na sinayawan pa ang Ark of the Covenant na gawa sa kahoy at di naman nagalit si God, samantalang nung ang mga Israelites ay nainip sa paghintay kay Moses at gumawa ng rebulto ng golden calf at sinayawan nila pero di nagustuhan ni God, ano ang difference? Both yung Ark of the Covenant at yung golden calf ay gawa ng mga tao. Bakit di nagalit si God sa mga Israelites na sambahin ang Ark of the Covenant? Hindi sumasamba ang mga Katoliko sa mga images as if it's God, kung di nagbibigay pugay lamang kami or venerate sa English, katulad ng pag venerate ni King David at ng mga Israelites sa Ark of the Covenant dahil alam nila na hindi si God yung Arko kundi representation nya lang.
At tungkol naman sa pagdasal sa mga santo, ang ibig sabihin ng pray ay paghingi. Bakit daw nagdadasal ang mga Katoliko sa mga santo, dapat daw kay God lang magdasal directly. Bakit tayong mga tao ay humihingi ng dasal sa ibang tao, lalo na kung ang dasal ay para sa mga mahal natin na may sakit? In that case, dapat pala bawal ang humingi ng dasal ng ibang tao kapag may mga mahal tayo na nangangailangan ng dasal. The same point sa mga santo, humihingi lang ang mga Katoliko na ipagdasal kami kay God dahil ang pagdasal para sa kapwa ay isa din sa utos ni God. Sa 1 Timothy 2:1, 'I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them, intercede on their behalf and give thanks for them.' Kaya kaming mga Katoliko ay humihingi lamang sa mga santo na mag intercede para sa amin. Ang pagdadasal para sa kapwa ay isang paraan ng pagtulong sa kanila.
Sana malinawan ka at gabayan ng Holy Spirit at sana manumbalik sa Iglesia Katoliko na 2000 years old na versus INC na kelan lang itinayo. At kung totoong tunay na INC ang simbahan na itinayo ni Jesus, bakit di nakakapag milagro ang inyong pinuno? Dahil ang mga disipulo ni Jesus ay binigyan niya ng kapangyarihan na manggamot at magpatalsik ng mga demons. Dahil kung si Manalo ay itinakda ni Jesus na mamuno ng kanyang simbahan, dapat binigyan din sya ng kapangyarihan tulad ng kanyang mga disipulo, especially after 2000 years na supposedly ginawa syang disipulo nung 1914 lang? At isa pa ang Bible ng INC ay galing sa Iglesia Katoliko. Ano ang church of Christ? Ang tawag sa church of Christ ay hindi Church of Christ kundi ay Apostolic Catholic church. Bakit ang pangalan ni Felix Manalo ay wala sa Bible kung totoong sya ang itinakda na mamuno sa kanyang simbahan?

Not only was the moderator biased, Jesse Romero switched his question after having been answered, claiming that Jose Ventilation did not answer the question he was originally asked. Wake up people, pay attention! Everyone is way too hyped and in the moment, that they loose the message behind what the speakers are actually saying.

I am proud and blessed to be Catholic. Within the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church, it's sacraments and history, along with guidance from the Holy Spirit and the promise Jesus Christ made when he walked the earth with us 2,000 years ago, there is fullness in the Christian faith. Unfortunately, many have strayed and created their own denominations because of disagreements with the Church and misinterpretations of the Bible, but Sacred Scripture and Tradition, collectively with the Magisterium of the Church, has kept God's true message and love alive.

Focusing verbatim on scripture without theological interpretation, using of fallacies and getting out of context of the debate sets the failure of INC's side. The whole world celebrate Christmas proof that these people are Catholics they adapted the Catholic tradition. Some members of INC are still joining in celebration for many of them were borned Catholics.
You said "whole world" even though you added "SOME members of INC" meaning there are still many INC members who doesn't celebrate Christmas just like me. And, how can you say the Christmas(Dec. 25) is Christ's birthday if Jesus was born on the desert even though there was no ice forming there at all. Remember: December is winter and at night, deserts are extremely cold. Also, the world doesn't have any extreme global heat at that time. Meaning, It should be really cold out there if Christ was born at December. Please understand more. Oh, and also, Christmas started from a popular myth. December 25 was only made as Christ's birthday by Roman pagans.

If your real birthday is June and your family celebrate December 25, Will you be happy or you will be mad? We don't celebrate December 25 because it is not in the bible. You are correct. Jesse Romero destroyed the INC position with his opening statement, using Scripture and facts. Mr. Ventalicion did not seem to comprehend the opening Catholic argument, used flawed logic, and never made a case for his cult's legitimacy.

repetitious prayer condemned by Jesus in Mt 6:7? In Mt 6:7, Jesus is not condemning all repeated prayers, only prayer repeated "in the manner of the pagans." Jesus is teaching Christians that they are not to pray with the pagan attitude that the more you repeat a prayer the more likely you are to be heard (see King 18:25-29 for an example of this pagan mentality). A Christian who thinks he needs to repeat a prayer in order to be heard in heaven has a problem with faith.

We can not find the official name of the Church Jesus founded in the bible. Jesus did not give its official name. He said he built HIS church on Peter but he did not give how the church will be specifically called. It is only perfectly right that we can call it Church of Christ because He was the One who built it. The Bible also called it Church of the Living God. You're absolutely right.. "it's a place where you follow God." God the Father. Catholics also follow the pope because they believe he is a vicar of Christ. On December 27, 2015, the pope claimed that Christ committed a sin. The Bible states Christ committed no sin (I Peter 2:21-22). The pope stated that the Bible is a dangerous book (October 2015). Does the bible teach that? There are so many differences with what the Catholic Church teaches and what the bible says:
- Catholic followers call priests and popes "Father." Christ teaches to not call anyone on earth your Father (Matthew 23:9).
- Catholic church has crosses, images and substitutes Jesus, Peter, etc for animals (Fish, Chicken, etc). God said not to have any other gods before him, not make for yourself a carved image (Exodus 20:3-5) and art and man's devising (Acts 17:29).
- In most Catholic churches, only the priest drinks the wine while the partaker is allowed to dip the bread in the wine or just eat it (lacks unity). Jesus Christ said in Matthew 26:26-28, "Drink from it, all of you."
There are many more things that I could mention if you would like. It may seem rude calling the Catholic Church of the devil, but it is the truth. Read I Timothy 4:1,3 and see for yourself.

I admire your loyalty, sir. I am an INC and I was forced by my teacher to go to a Catholic mass and what I did was to try on understanding more from your religion's side. I had found many mistakes on that mass.
For example: To be saved, a person must drink from Christ's blood which is referred as the wine but why is the priest the only one who drinks from the wine and all the other Catholic people only ate the bread which is the body of Christ??

As is typical of most Protestant apologists, Iglesia Ni Cristo makes the same mistakes as all Protestants do. They distort the meaning of texts to prove their theological argument. The Council of Jerusalem was convened to settle the issue of whether or not Gentile converts should be compelled to keep the Law of Moses (specifically circumcision). The council was NOT convened to establish the truth of Peter's primacy (Matthew 16: 18). Peter was one of the first apostles to address the meeting in Acts 15, along with Paul and Barnabas and finally James (bishop of Jerusalem). James, at the end, judged that the whole council was in agreement with the teaching that Gentiles should not be compelled to keep the Law of Moses in order to be saved. A letter was drawn up confirming their agreement, and it was sent to all the churches as evidence. This was a "church council." No other churches outside of Jerusalem contested its authenticity or authority, coming from a meeting of the apostles of Christ at which Peter spoke clearly on the issue. My question for Iglesia Ni Cristo is this: Where was Felix Manalo at this council? His name is mentioned no one where in the text. How could Felix Manalo possibly be a messenger of Christ with authority since he was not even alive at this time? The Catholic Church is the true Church. Iglesia Ni Cristo is not.

Yan ang nagbibigay ng malaking gap between God and humanity kaya mahalaga na may mga taga-langit kasali ang mga santos na tutulong sa atin na ipagdasal tayo sa Diyos na dinggin din at i-grant ang prayers natin. Parang job application mahalaga na may backer ka na tutulong sa iyo na makapasok agad sa trabaho. So parang ganon. Mahal na mahal ng mga katoliko si Blessed Virgin Mary at kahit anong mangyari hindi kami titigil na hihingi ng tulong sa kanya na mas lalo pa kaming mapalapit sa Diyos.
.... the challenge here is the apostolic succession is a big challenge to be proven by others. Using the Bible like a jigsaw puzzle to justify ones appetite is just amazing and fruition of what have been stated in 2 Peter 3:16.

I can support your answer. I can show a proof. Look at the known catholic church that is made in the 16th century. Look at what happened to Basilica de Sto. Niño in Cebu. It was damaged by a natural calamity and many catholic idols were destroyed too. Typhoon Haiyan had shown great power and it is just the start of God showing the power of his anger.

I think it is evident that Catholics worship the Pope as God. Pope is called Holy Father. In John 17:11, Christ called God Holy Father. Pope is called My Holiness in Psalms 111:9, it says "holy and reverend" is God's name. Pope is called the Rock. Deuteronomy 32:4, 32:15; 2 Samuel.22:2,3,32; Psalms.18:2; Psalms.28:1 etc etc says God is the Rock and 1 Corinthians 10:4 says Christ is the Rock, not Peter. Pope is said to be the Foundation. 1 Corinthians 3:11 "For other foundation no man can lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ" Pope is said to be the Shepherd. Psalm 23:1 "The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want..." And Christ said in John 10:14 "I am the good shepherd and know my sheep and am known of mine" and 1 Peter 2:25 and 2 Peter 5:4 got Peter saying that Christ is the Shepherd and Bishop. Come on this is a little too much. And then the bowing to the Pope and making him a meditator and kissing his ring and putting him on a throne. Come on you guys, come on....
