bro that is not grease, thats alcohol.. its easier to pull the handgrips into place with alcohol, once the alcohol dried, the grips will stay in place..
At 7:50...are those scratches on the bars , right side. And are those just slide on grips, no screws...and it was going so good..ok...you made up for the grips when you used the heat shrink...I think, I'll have to try it..over all...I like it. I think I'll purchase one and see.
Forgive me if I'm wrong but it is possible you have play in your headset. You measured your steerer tube to be at the same level as your headset spacers. Your tube should be about 2 mm shorter so you can tighten your headset bearings.
took me ten minutes to find out it cost him less than $1000 and weights 28.7 lbs. would it have killed you to say/put that in the video or description? lol.
Would be epic if u putted fox fork and dropper with kashima coating and the shock too so it ´d be like a Trifox ya know. I ´d also put for background nice anodized colored bits like red, orange, green or blue .etc. But anyways nice build man.
I just came across your channel in my feed. Awesome build! I can't wait to hear how it does on the trails. I like that you focus on budget minded parts and builds.
Galing erp! Watched your vids from the time na ang set up mo e kalikot with a rear wheel bike stand lang and some tools, then now kumpleto na sa gamit. Kudos! 🍻
I’ve never watched a complete assembly like this, pretty cool. Really good job making the video. I apologize for my ignorance, but why grease the bars? Last question .... why was the rear shock installed inverted? Again, great job making the video!
Thanks for asking, The grease on the bars is just a troll, shocks can be installed upside down some are parallel, if you pay attention, there’s is no way to install the shock upright, attention to details that’s the key
@@MCMTB trolling people in your video....just awesome!! Thank you for such a quick response. I will go back and watch it again for the rear shock. I assumed it was a “has to be” situation, but I’ve never built a mountain bike, so I have no experience...probably why I did not pick up on the only way it would fit, but I was pretty fixated on the shock being inverted lol. Your video caught my eye due to being interested in building a Chinese CF frame MB...I was not only pleasantly surprised by the quality of the video, but also the assembly process you went through and your technique. Very very cool. Thanks again for the reply and I hope you have a outstanding week.
@@erikeng6592 I know how to install grips. I use air or alcohol, times I have used hair spray in a pinch. Hand sanitizer is a little expensive for that and I can do without fragrance. Besides, I do not have HS readily available where as I do have rubbing alcohol in my med cabinet.
how has the bike held up so far? ive seen reviews on chinese brand carbon frames that look good on the outside.. but no so on the inside, thin walls, bad joints, etc..
Sweet looking stealth build. I personally would have gone w a Fox fork and dropper to complete the "Trifox" name. Please post a review video with some shredding and light jumping (typical use). I wouldn't be surprised if this frame came out of the same plant that makes frames for several known brands using the same materials and layup process.
Hi. I am new to your channel. You could specify which components you used in the assembly. I have no knowledge of mechanics I want to buy a trifox like the one you assembled Thanks a lot. Blessing
Did you have to Get New Hardware for the Rear Shock ? i spoke to Another youtuber with Same Frame set , says he had to Get new Hardware to Run a Trunion Style Rear Shock ?
Great build, stunning looking bike. Really enjoyed watching this. Please keep us up to date on how the frame performs, very interested in buying one Well done man 👍

Yeah, I also don't understand why... I know they put grip paste when working with carbon but this makes no sense
Man this is therapeutic to watch cuz of that binaural beats background music.
Edit: and of course cuz of Mark's mechanic skills.
17 minutes and none a single word came out. Y'all know he's in serious business.

Just a tip, but I like to use a soft thin skinny stick instead of a finger to apply grease.

U really can use it for that😂
A list of components, source(s), and prices would have been nice to see.

out of all the Pinoy TH-camrs so far you are the best builder!
Thanks
Nice.. Dream Build style video. Level up ka na talaga erp.
Can you post the links to where you got the carbon mtb?
Ebay carbon fiber mountain bike frame and you will see it. Roughly $350 a pop
We need a long term testing and review alá Trace Velo. That’s the only way to know if a cheap carbon MTB build is even worth it.
The frame is $1000 so not really cheap.
I always watch Gee Milner's dream builds on 1.5-2x speed. But this... I'm watching it on 1.0x.
Thanx for sharing!
The bike turned out really, really nice.
The silent video was fantastic too.
Looking forward to your first riding video.

Love this! I was late for work because I got stuck watching this video in bed.
Why Grease on the handle bars at the stem? I thought you'd use friction paste, especially if the bars were carbon?
is this frame based on the Scott Spark? It looks similar.
Great, Build. It was cool meeting you at the race Sunday as you got to put the bike in action. I'm the guy with the Tallboy
Yeeh yeeh, Your tall boy looks sick, dream bike for sure
I thought u mounted the back suspension upside down 🙃 but I'm not sure if it's right 🤔
Yeah manitou are weird like that, it lets them use less material but keep the same structural integrity as a normal fork

Yes it is very similar
@MCMTB I have to know how this frame has held up? Please up date us on any issues or if you think it's a capable frame.

Gee Milner called and he wants his video back 😂
Can you let me know all the parts and toold needed for this bike build as i am very interested in building the same thing
Does this frame have rear shox wiring internal routing hole?
Yes

I'm confused why you put grease on the bars ? Won't that make it more likely slip and shift on you ?
