Sir if it's possible could you do an interview with the breeder asking him how he breeds and raises them? With tank sizes, foods, water parameters, water changes, stocking density, quarantine, diseases and cures, meds to have on hand etc. Maybe do an explanation of his setup and methods? Curious to know more on how he uses styrofoam boxes and makes it water and fish safe?

The stuff I have I just strictly let them colony breed so no original anything. I'll have a website up in January where I'll be selling lots of fish including most of the guppies you saw in this video

Not a fan of doing hybrids as you know in reptiles with chameleons in the past, reptile breeders are against it. But I am all about making the strains stronger but would it not be better the genes stronger by keeping the dominant genes the same but crossing in the co dominant and or recessive genes into the dominant gene itself. I do not know your level of experience on genetics at all from your reptile days but honestly, I have only found one other fish breeder with good knowledge on gene pools and found another breeder with semi knowledge of genetics. Fish breeders have somewhat knowledge but never in detail bi found. Most fish breeders hearing dominate, co dominate and recessive genes it's like a whole new world to them and it seems to me so far, that it would be useful to know. To create more proven strains out there is shorter time frames. It really is not a hard thing to learn. I will be covering the genes on the new custom website coming out.
With animals as pet Companion, I am pro with crossbreed and for new variant, as long as that not make the animals go with big defect or even look weird with some genetical Sickness. Variant is Colorful, make them, the Breeder, the sellers, and hobbyst enjoy creativity together and learning more together.
I'm disagree with prevent anyone don't crossbree any animals, logically is like this, if no crossbreed, then we just original exactly same with wild animals, thats habit can be future Danger, we always never know, that guppy, sorry i make guppy for example, that guppy is captive breed or wild caught???
But with, for example, albino full platinum or blue dragon guppy would never be a wild full platinum or wild full red or wild blue dragon guppies, we always be know, they're from Breeder.
@@Cleeon I will be looking for another service dog soon. Unfortunately and in a rare case the service dog issued to me from the Airforce base as a result of my PTSD a permanent medical surgeries going forward as a result of combat overseas was infected by covid and unfortunately caught it to late to save her where the veterinarian advised put her down 4 days ago. I am not exactly sure where she became infected but have a good idea on where. And when. She unfortunately is my second loss since the pandemic hit. I will not tolerate inconsiderate people if it happens again who refuse to do the right thing if anybody else I my immediate family is impacted locally. The of my service dog that was issued after my return from overseas was the last straw for me personally but before bi could get another service dog, I will need to get by the mourning period as simply I can not seem to focus going into a deep depression. When I do, I would like to get another bill dog mix if possible. Do you have any suggestions? I figured you area great person to ask.
Hi Jason, need your wisdom, are red eye tetra fry very very very very tiny?? like microworm tiny??? I cant determine if i am looking at many tiny whitish bugs or red eye tetra fry. what say you??
They look like small slivers of glass at first
@@JadrenAquatics i took a picture with my Nikon, and zoomed in on it on a big screen, these are fish after all, not lice or bugs, much smaller than my cherry barb fry or even my neon tetra fry. BTW, my super reds finally had 30 babies. thanks Jason.

Just purchased a pair on yesterday. Thanks for your help. One question..... Don't have a lot of cover in my tank and I have different kind of fish in the tank now. Do you recommend getting a separate small tank for the babies until they are able to join larger tank environment?

Lol I had to ask the same question. It's for feeding to keep food from getting on the bottom of the tank

I have a question for you, do you ship to Canada? I have recently gotten back into guppies pretty hard. I cant find many strains here.
No I've heard custom with fish can be difficult
To be very honest not all of his fish look very healthy but nice selection check Michaels fish room he has some exotic guppies but looking more healthy

Too much tubes, wires all messed up around like spaghetti junkyard. He needs to hide those annoying tubes and wires to get a better space for room. Go, see and learn more Chinese and Viet very nice and clean guppy room setup.
