So when you were talking about the 3 11’s each of the pictures if u find the treasure will get a gem 💎 and each picture has a number of the month so 11 is November and you get that gem so you’d get either topaz or citrine.
I believe the object of Twain's desire is the "Cliff House" which he wrote fondly of in the SF Chronicle. The natural archway near the coast and Cliffhouse is present in the painting background. I feel like the stone gate at the top of the painting does not refer to Shakespeare's garden, but something else. It doesn't visually look as similar as the buildings or elements in the solved paintings. Twain also wrote a letter saying how he felt at home on Montgomery street. The Transamerica pyramid is on Montgomery street and existed when the treasure was hidden. Transamerica Redwood Park perhaps?
There is a fountain inspired by Twain there. Giant poles could be the redwoods. Ace high could be the Transamerica building and giant step ...there's a statue of kids taking giant steps. Just a thought.
7:00 Also, about the *object of Twain's attention* , I think it is the Guiseppe Verdi staue near the "Music Concourse Drive". From my research, I have come to know that Twain was not a big fan of opera (he felt it was often intense and incoherent), however, *Verdi's Trovatore* was one of his favourites, and he attended one of his concerts in *San Francisco* in August 1866. Verdi's statue, therefore, qualifies as an object of Twain's attention and the position of the statue near the *Music Concourse* makes it a very strong clue!
