I'm studying the St. Augustine one. It's near the Fountain of Youth and the Old Senator Tree

Only 3 found, but all by local residents. With the internet making it more possible a distant Hunter *could* find one...but living locally seems a requirement.

With 9 remaining its almost impossible to get a permit to dig in Houston, New Orleans, New York, etc. Only San Francisco allows digging. Good luck treasure hunters.

You wont be next to find them because Preiss the author hid them all in parks which are illegal to dig in. He even mentions in the book getting digging permission but you wont be given any. So good luck. Furthermore the gemstones that you could win were lost when Preiss passed away in 2005. They were in a safety deposit box and he was the one divvying them out.

I would recommend you watch the Treasure Unknown Episode about the Boston one being found because it pretty much proves the opposite. First of all Preiss's family now hands out the gems and while it might not always be easy several people have gotten permission to probe and dig in different parks for the treasures already. So if anyone thinks they have a solution now one has tried yet, don't let anyone discourage you! For what Preiss's family said about him, he would certainly cheer you on!

Wrong and wrong! Cities are letting ppl dig with permits. And the family is honoring the keys if found.

@Treasure Coast Lady allowed?? I already know right where it’s at. How can it be the wrong spot if you’re ALLOWED to dig?? That makes zero sense, like you’re spelling 😂
