Hell yeah man. Great video and thanks for the shout out. Keep putting out the videos, that algorithm will start pushing your channel. It's real and raw.
Good video sir! I have the bike lifter you showed second, alright for small jobs but don't like it for bigger jobs. I also have a table similar to your one. It is branded 'Clarke' and is both hydraulic and air. It has 3 'D' rings down each side. The lift pedal is removable as is the lowering pedal and the lowering pedal is also shielded so you can't stand on it accidentally. It has a 3 position locking bar and has a levelling jack at each corner. The wheel clamp has 3 positions too. All the best from IoM 🇮🇲
Just bought the Pittsburgh lift last weekend from Harbor Freight for $440. I didn’t even know there were 2 versions. Happy to see I got the older version. Thanks for the video. I’m enjoying the lift so far.
I'm working out of a 20' shipping container on my bikes, 91 springer softtail, 92 Electra Glide Ultra Classic, and a 78 flh bobber, and I think that the Pittsburgh lift should be right for me and still have enough room to get around my bikes, right now all I have is a Harbor Freight scissor lift. This appears to be a very honest review on the lift. Thanks 👍
I disagree about the air lifts. In my opinion having an air compressor is a must. You still need air, to air up tires, blow off dust, or clean out holes. Cordless tools are great, do not/cannot replace shop air. Plugging in an air hose isn’t a huge inconvenience to me. The time saved pumping up a table manually is worth it.
Great video man, a little long but overall great video. I’ve got the older version, at first I though you were going to praise the newer version but nope, glad I’ve got that older version.
Only problem with the Craftsman style is you can't use them on bikes that have the exhaust run beneath the bike, ie my Suzuki Bandit or my Yamaha Virago.
I lift my Buell Firebolt with the craftsman lift. I made a wooden jig to support the muffler from the factory jack points. Easiest and safest way for me to take the wheels off the bike. If you check out the video I posted on the Buell you can see it. But my case is rare and I do agree with ya.
🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸Handy lifts are the only choice🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸made in America of American parts🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸Handy lifts come very narrow but can also be made wide. No reaching required.

Thank you and thank you for the support!

This sure makes me glad to have the "older" version of the HF table lift.

I have an air lift. Built several bikes on it. Best investment I've ever made. Air lift all the way
I’ve seen many videos on the lifts and yours is the only one that’s complains about them so much.

I think you’ll enjoy the lift table, I’m just being picky because I loved my original one a lot more.
Air for tires blowing out carburetor blowing off dirt performing leakdown test. Dresser air shocks etc …

Hey man, great vid. Coverdale things that I'd never considered other than it was made in China. Which I've boycotted. Thanks again.
Glad ya enjoyed it

motorcycle jack is great for fuel tank removal as well
If you back a big motorcycle on a hf lift and take the front tire off it will tip forward.
A motorcycle shop without a compressor is a joke. Air is required for so many necessary tasks.
The weight of the motorcycle and gravity is the reason your table leans towards the drain, its downhill.
I don't mess with chinese junk , Handylift is the only way to go . My saftey is worth the extra money .
Harbor freight lifts don’t last long before the jacks start bleeding down Foreign junk.
You get what you pay for
