I love these series. I’d like it to be 3 or 4 parts tho, just to see more of the food and see you reacting to the food. Feels a bit rushed for me, hoped to see everything. But enjoyed it, thanks.
The gold dusted chicken and fries really turned me off. Gold adds no flavor or texture to a dish and has no nutritional value. The only reason eating gold is special is because it is expensive. Especially in a place like Dubai that has such stark wealth inequality and has a horrible track record of how it treats poor foreign workers (like slaves), it seems especially callous to eat something that's going to come out of your body the same way it went in because you can afford it. It's just paying to take a shiny shit. Seeing that left a bad taste in my mouth (no pun intended).
Gold and silver is actually a very common topping (as you can say) on mostly deserts here in India. Traditionally it is advised to eat in silver too to add some of these metals in your body. But it honestly isnt that expensive. When you weigh it, there is hardly any substantial metal. I personally can taste the metal whenever I eat it. It is unusual mostly to be able to taste metal. But I guess these days its just for fun. And it is very much hyped up in the west tbh. Although, whatever the rest you said, the main reason why THEY particularly had it and the nuance of it whole was to eat it cz they can afford that overpriced shit.
I somewhat surprised that you didn't use the opportunity of fridge-cam to address the criticism you have rightly received for promoting Dubai as a tourist destination. Enough has already been said about Dubai and UAE at large concerning their shocking human rights standards and practices of modern-day slavery in the comments from the last video. What's more concerning is that this is a paid ad - that means you're pushing Dubai's agenda to promote the place as a welcoming tourist destination, which only goes skin deep once you scratch away at their petro-dollar surface. Can you really trust any opinions on the 36 dishes you tried when you pretty much have to sing their praises? The viewers trust you to provide food opinions that are both entertaining but also honest & unbiased. You guys really should respond to this in your next video. Also, don't eat shark. It's bad for sharks and humans.
Hey, I don't think that the guys' opinion on the food was fake. Nevertheless I support your comment on the criticism towards promoting a state as Dubai for tourism. I don't think you can nor should seperate Dubai's political (and ecological!) situation from its entertaining side such as food and sling shots because they go hand in hand. I am a bit startled that you only got negative answers to your comment so far (besides the likes). Yours an important contribution - keep it up :) I think it's sad how many people think themselves as "unpolitical". That saying - Hey @Sortedfood: Please think about it before your next Ad!
Jamie, I agree with you 100% about the thickness of a pattie. Overstuffing a burger in general is a bad idea. Today, I might've had the best pizza I've ever had in my life. Garlic bread too, both focaccia. That was wonderful, well done everyone.

Jamie casually describing the slider while James is wildly swinging back and forth in the background what I subscribed for, aside from the food 😂
@I maybe a stinky loser, but I think you might be the delusional one mate
Omg, go awaaaaaaay. They are trying the FOOOD.
Yours an important contribution - keep it up :)
I think it's sad how many people think themselves as "unpolitical".
