I can confirm that she is still being mourned globally. Here in the US, I am still numb. And it is okay to say she was "angelic" because she was just as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. Just a special human being that touched so many people very profoundly. She will be missed. RIP Dame Olivia Newton-John.

It's been six weeks since we lost Olivia, and I'm still not over it.
@@paulkane7771 I am not over it either. I spent several hours driving from Houston to Dallas, TX on Monday, Sept. 26 (her 74th birthday) and I just listened to my ONJ playlist that currently has 84 songs...and on the way back the next day too..

Olivia Newton-John was a giant. Her stoic work for cancer research and treatment, for the common person to have the access she had. Is beyond words. She is, was and always will be a giant we should emulate. 😎🥃

Hi Guys perfect description she was Angelic and a total Sweetheart that cared for other's especially Australian Women who were battling cancer she helped build a facility in Melbourne. Truly a beautiful soul sadly missed by this Aussie. Now another Aussie Icon, John Farnham is fighting cancer, has been very sad over recent weeks, as we keep losing singing legends. RIP
She built another in california, and a wellness place in Byron Bay.
A whole era has died now with her passing and just this morning I hear of John Farnham coming down with cancer. Two of the greatest people to ever walk on a stage. Olivia gave her life to animal and plant conservation along with her hospital in Melbourne devoted to cancer research and natural wellness. One of those gifted souls that will gain direct entrance into Paradise.
We lost Judith and then Olivia and now to get the news of John Farnham illness is just mind blowing, John is a fighter and I am sure he will beat this. RIP Olivia and Judith Australia is sill mourning your leaving us.
Olivia was such a beautiful soul. So much sadness in Australia right now with so many Iconic entertainers leaving us. And just a couple of days ago we heard that John Farnham has undergone marathon cancer surgery. We are all praying for his full recovery. 🙏 ❤️

Olivia was my first crush. What a beautiful, humble special human she was. Heaven has gained another angel. Olivia and Judith are now singing together, up there. What a dynamic duo of super women and what a tragic loss to this world. 😢Their legacy will live on. Thanks guys. Oh, and say hi to Arnie. As an edit I might add that news has just surfaced that John Farnham as cancer. We wish him well.

Such sad news about Olivia's passing. She was only 73 & bravely fought cancer for nearly 3 decades. Olivia had so many great songs such as "I Honestly Love You", "If Not for You", "Let Me Be There", "If You Love Me (Let Me Know)", "Have You Never Been Mellow", "Please Mr. Please", "Magic", Xanadu" etc. She starred with John Travolta in the movie "Grease" in 1978 & they had some great songs together "You're the One That I Want" & "Summer Nights".
Also some of her best performances ever were with her soul mate and best friend John Farnham, an Aussie icon.
Sadly John is in hospital having been diagnosed with cancer today and the nation is in shock!!

Olivia passed a couple of weeks ago and her good friend john farnham today is going through approximately 12 hour surgery for cancer
Surgery finished a few hours ago and was successful- positive news. Now we have to wait and see!

Nope. I remember all of her romantic (and sad) ballads, every one, when I was in junior or senior high school in the early to mid 70's. They really resonated with me.

In the movie Xanadu she played a muse......one of the daughters of Zeus. She looked like a goddess but still seemed approachable. The world is a darker place without her.
