So Captain you were in 120 ft and all you got was a couple of fishes. This is how bad the fishes have been over fished all over. Its not what it used to be. The majority dont care in throwing back the smaller fishes so sad. So in a couple of years there will be practically no fishes left.😪

These are always a treat to watch; thank you! If you don't mind me saying, there is one unsafe aspect of your generator install that, with your constant emphasis on safety, I respectfully suggest you reconsider. I think I recognize that very inexpensive 4-outlet extension cord that plugs into the generator and supports your inside electrical accessories. It is made with 16 gauge wire. OTOH you repowered with a larger generator because you wanted to be able to run all your accessories concurrently, which I'm estimating requires 18-20 amps of AC from the generator. Even a very short tun of 16 gauge wire has a max current capacity of 13 amps. It may take a while for overheating damage to occur, especially at the 4-outlet end...but it eventually seems likely. A 12 gauge power cord will give you 20 amps of safe power. Thanks again for this informative - and entertaining - channel!

    • @OutOnTheReef
      @OutOnTheReef  ปีที่แล้ว +1

Thank you so much for your recommendation captain and the wire that I have from the generator is it from the generator it's a thick gauge because it was from a 8 outlet extinction thick courd That looks more like a 12 gauge thickness That looks more like 14 gauge or 12 from the way I look at it is very thick And when I'm running it with most of my appliances the extension cord it's not hot at all captain But you make me think I will keep an eye on it and make sure that this wire is thick enough, thanks Jack for being a viewer of my channel cap.👍🛥🏝

Hey brother. Haven’t been to your channel for a long time now. I’m fighting a spinal injury and haven’t been good. Hoping to get my Parker 2520 underway this next season as well. But I have a C7-T1 ruptured disc and it impinged my C8 nerve root.
So will have to go in for possible surgery. No clue.
Figured I’d stop by, watch your video and say hello. My Parker 2520 will be back in the water soon.
I always admire what you have done and kinda jealous you have another island country you can escape to.
Ok, got the flu. Going back to being miserable. Cheers buddy. Great video.
You should troll for Mahi, Wahoo and tuna on your way back to Florida. That pelagic water is amazing down there. Just have to find the chloro line and have more rods, Daisy chains and Wahoo candy lures, then troll on your way back to Florida. That way you don’t have to try and refrigerate the fish as much on the way back.

I saw someone ask you what business you're in, talking about medical. I chuckled. I know.. but not sayin a word.
Hey, was that a hog's head you caught?
Swear, you should just come out and show people your wonderful face. Your channel would explode. There's something about facial recognition, which people see, notice immediately and love..
I love that you respect anonymity. I think it would be weird as well, but you've become a bit of a public figure now, and you're to the point, where you'd be a total celebrity at boat shows, etc.. you're not an Elon Musk for sure, but you're well respected in the fishing and boating community.
I don't think it would lead to the wide spread fame, no, but it's just my opinion. Some of these boat shows, or the crooked pilot house building Parker, may in fact use you as a celeb at events, etc.. Just a thought.
Definitely not a focus, but as I recall, you had to delete an entire episode or something, because it accidentally showed your face in a reflection, or something.. then you uploaded it again after edit.
Just a thought buddy.. you never discuss politics or anything like that, so you'd be loved by all sides.
You continue to be you, and the planet will love you! Don't be shy to announce to the world who you are though.. life is short, glad you're playing hard.

      @@OutOnTheReef absolutely buddy.
You have a lot of subs now. Wow.
I joined really early on and recall all the first videos.
I’m busy working on so many things lately, going from 8am till sometimes 1 in the morning. Just crushing design and business endlessly. It’s been insane.
Can’t find any employees now. I’m sure you’re the same way.
Keep in touch. I’d love to pick your brain more on installing air conditioning on my boat. I know you’re the man when it comes to this. I have an idea to make a complete, self contained and recirculating system, to make fresh water off the AC, into an ice maker as well as a completely sealed system.
I don’t like salt water recirculating systems, as the salt water radiator can potentially rot out, similar to an onboard motor.
There’s no good way to flush them either. But that’s the only option unless you go solar and use a Peltier device. That would only work for refrigeration systems however.
I’m making and designing parts now, 3 or 4th Axis CNC, and capable of machining anything, down to 1/10,000ths of an inch. Can do any metal, including hardened steel and titanium. As an electronic engineer, changing over to mechanical 3D design is fairly easy because of a strong machining background. So, if you ever need something machined, let me know.
Custom stainless or anodized aluminum Parker logos, etc would be awesome.
Also, I designed and run my own Flir imaging camera for my Parker.
I’m able to run in the dark. It is capable of finding objects in the dark, navigating channels around boats, etc.
If you ever run in the dark, you’ll realize Flir is 10x better than Radar. I even found the temperate break using it before up ahead. Cool stuff for sure.
