That engine room and both engines are clean enough to eat off of. It looks like you clean in the smallest areas with Q tips. +The whole boat is in great condition and everything is neat and tidy and very homey. You have a very nice home on the water with an ever-changing waterfront view that is priceless.

I have no idea why you don't have 10 million subs. I'm a OG and this is the most professional, fun, beautifully crafted and presented channel on YT. The videography is amazing and the stories are fantastic. This is my "get away" to the waterways of the Northwest. Thank you for all you do and what you share with us. I appreciate it greatly. (you failed to show 007's smoke screen and retractable missile system LOL)
MV Freedom is just the perfect size. Big enough to have a fully featured pilothouse with proper seated helm statiojn, plus the settee and watch berth, yet without the usual top heavy flybridge. IF I have the money....
I have seen many of the walk throughs of the larger Nordhavns. What is most appealing to the under 60 size would be or could be the home feel. One does not entertain enough to have so much wasted space on a larger craft. I was brought up in southeast Alaska where the ships were constructed more for working with larger aft deck spaces and under holds for cargo. Grand folks had a wooden double ender with a greys marine engine built in the 50's in Ketchikan at Mckay marine Ways, one of two, the same design. Gramps had a contract early on to make cargo and mail runs to the many local logging camps before the float planes came more abundant to the scene. This is definitely a way of life. The downsizing brings one more into focus with reality and decreases our carbon footprint considerably. You have a beautiful home. Thank you for inviting us in.

Thanks Guys for a really lovely video. Your Nordhavn must be one of the best afloat - particularly as she is 18 years old. She looks almost brand new! I know how difficult it is to maintain a boat which operates in a salt water environment so I guess you make a huge effort to keep her looking as spick and span as she does. Love the ease in which you two interact. That is something that you might want to talk about; the psychological aspect of living aboard a boat. I can see that you have 'traveled' a long way in more ways than miles. Love the tour! My Bride and me live in the Caribbean and have pondered living aboard a boat. We have always adapted well to unanticipated changes.
You two seem to fit together as Yin and Yang. Thank you for the inspiration. The only thing I would add to your lovely home is a guitar or uke. Your home is beautiful, and amazingly functional. You give a lot of us hope.

I’m an old granny and my boating days are in the rear view mirror……we used to have a 34’ Pequod and did our cruising in Florida and the Bahamas…….if I could start over it would be with a Nordhavn……I love “Freedom” and the great care you take of her and I love your channel. Thanks so much for the excellent tour. I was thinking we would need a larger Nordhavn to travel on, but your tour has done a great job of showing a lot of us we can survive and thrive on a smaller Nordhavn.
All Nordhavn boats are fantastic long range mini-ships. Which ever one fits your budget, you won't be disappointed. Love your simple, no bs approach to producing your channel. Great job.

Freedom is a fantastic boat, and the upgrades you've done have made it so much better. I would love to be able to cruise around on a yacht like it. A little larger boat would be a little more comfortable, but it's really an awesome boat!

Absolutely love the nordhavn 43. One of the safest and most economical ways to travel around the world. I think some people on here don't realize how safe that boat really is and that boats twice her size wouldn't be able to handle bad weather as well. Love your channel
I notice on the comments that you very seldom interact or reply to comments or questions. That is not the best thing to do if you really want to make your channel super huge. You are one of my favorite channels of many hundreds on TH-cam and want the best for you. You are such a neat couple. I love how you are so clean and tidy! I have seen some yacht tours where they are a mess inside. I want to comment about how you heat your yacht. You just came from winter snow and ice in BC. I have seen other full time yachters say they use diesel heaters that are vented outside because they are safer than propane and can use diesel from your fuel tanks. They really work well. Many yachters are afraid of propane on their yachts due to explosions from leaks. Thanks.

Outtakes from those video rushes would certainly be fun to look at. From what I recall, one of the purpose of the storage volume where Elizabeth is hiding was also designed to allow one person to sleep on the couch during shifts, at sea. Re- equipment, did Shawn buy and install the chain counter?

Absolutely loved the tour of Freedom and wow she is looking great ! Everything is clean and neatly arranged and the amount of storge is massive, I really like at the end when you show storage under the counter LOL I did have a question concerning the wing engine, how often do you exercise it and put a couple of hours on it. Thank you both for the great video and we look forward to further adventures !!
There’s a reason why these Nordhvan’s are so expensive. It’s because of their superior quality. Being in the market for a trawler, it would be nice to know what’s something like this would survey at ?
Also, very nice work on the white leather cushions . It certainly modernizes the vessel, But I’m sure that didn’t come cheap either .
There is a 43 for sale on yachtworld in FL today for $650,000ish.
Thank you for tour ,boat is immaculate . We had a 32 Sea ray in Chicago then moved to Florida keys for 27 years . If I would of seen your videos years ago I think I would of been happier with your type of boat ,more room and an easier more comfortable life style. Keep the videos coming .really enjoy watching the two of you on those trips . I live in northern now in the mountains .

Very good tour. I lived aboard a 45’ monohull sail boat for 3 years and then a 44’ m/v for 2. If you plan you can have every thing you need on board with you. Great life style. I miss it.
Freedom is the most perfect Nordhavn layout I've ever seen. Love that there's no bulky topheavy flybridge.
Also love that the pilothouse is just big enough to have a nice sitdown helm station and the settee below the watch berth. You've really fitted out Freedom just right with proper quality equipment and diligently ship shape setup for everything. Nice work all round! If my funds would allow I'd have as close as possible to the same boat for myself.
Great boat tour, love the state of your 'home', just as I would have it. Spic and span! Keeping the engine room clean is a must have and besides what Shawn mentioned its also a safe hazard as old oil rags and deposits can catch fire and trigger a much bigger problem.

I’ve always been a fan of Nordhavn yachts. The 43 is the model I had thought would be in my price range and still be more that capable of doing all the explorer things. Love both of you. Keep up the good videos of your adventures.

Hi Elizabeth and Shawn👋 First it's nice to see you posting a new video. I'm a fellow Seattle boater as well. Your new ultra leather choice is beautiful and really brightens up your interior. You do a wonderful job keeping your boat clean inside and out especially the engine room! I will attest that a clean boat and clean well organized boat is both safer and more enjoyable. Nothing sucks more than when you want to go somewhere and you can't because of improper maintenance. Would be nice sometime to chat and talk boat experiences.
