As a Vol fan I can tell you the real heartbreak is having to listen to Gary Danielson for 90% of this video...
Jesus saves
Nah its the constant and never ending trauma of L's.
@@user-qb9fv3bf2dforget my comment, just snatched a natty in baseball. Vols by a million🍊
I remember watching that 2009 Alabama game on deployment. Heartbreaking.
This video is the story of my childhood and life
Same
Maybe one day here soon we can look back on videos like this and say... Remember when Tennessee football used to be awful? Now we're on top of the world! Can't keep us down forever, stay strong and go Vols!!
Big “maybe”
Here we are #6 and 5-0!
What if I told you we’d beat Alabama and be 6-0 right now?
What if I told that Tennessee would beat 4 ranked opponents out of 6, including Alabama, setting up and almost guaranteed National Big, and would most likey meet Georgia 8 - 0, pitting the two best teams in the country in a titanic clash.
@@VolFan9804 God speed there!
This is simply beautiful to watch as a Florida fan. God bless yall Vols. True fans those who have weathered all this disappointment
Im a Miami fan but that post game interview from the Florida coach was hilarious. "I love seeing all these people disappointed" So do i coach🤣🤣
Seems like florida fans got disappointed last week.
@@kylechrestman6955 Your passive aggression makes you "seem like" a bitch.
You made this comment too early 😭
@@ImDelrosa Tennessee is having a great year. Nothing in my comment is contradicted by that - their numerous struggles and heartbreaks over recent history are still a joy to reflect on and the Vol fans who endured it should be commended. Im happy for them they got a good squad this year to pull for. We'll see if they can avoid heartbreak this week against Bama.
The fact that there is 49 mins of this should say a lot bout our pain lol
2015 was BRUTAL
2017
The pain us Tennessee fans endured since 2009 was absolutely brutal, this could finally be our year!!!
Annnnd there's the pain again lol
@@kidzbop38isstraightfire92 Bro you're cringe af lil boy😆
Ummmm……no.
This video is great and I'll tell you why. As a kid born in Orlando, in 1999, who's first college football game he watched was Tim Tebow beating Ohio State in the BCS national championship and really got into it at 6 years old right after NCAA 06 came out, it's a wonder how I didn't end up a Gator fan. I'll admit, I was on the fence for a while, mostly between UCF, Miami, Alabama and Florida... But ironically in 2009, when I watched a scrappy Tennessee team lose on a blocked field goal to #1 ranked Alabama IN Tuscaloosa, it sparked something extremely emotional in me and that was the first time I cried watching a sports game. From there on out, all my classmates started getting into football more so along with me, and I ended up sticking with the Vols. Unfortunately for me, I never got to see the dominance of the 80's, 90's and very early 2000's. My love for the Vols, the Tennessee Orange that runs through my veins, came from knowing nothing but the life of telling my friends every Friday before the Florida game that "the streak is over this year" and then coming back to school every Monday afterwards and getting absolutely roasted by everyone. It's been about resilliance (Butch Jones flashbacks 🤮) and being the underdog for me. Ironically, a completely different love and passion for the university than the experience of a Vol fan even just 15 years older than me. First time I think I've ever happy cried in my life was that 52-49 victory over Bama in 2022. With Heupel having come from UCF along with the majority of his staff, I can't say how perfect I think he has been for this program. GBO 🧡
That last one still makes me mad he wasn't down
Hell nah he wasn’t down. After his arm crossed the plane of the goal line the whistle done sounded then. That’s such bs I was at that game I can tell you no Tennessee fan was happy that night
@@nathanlawton7065 i was there too never yelled so loud i’m my life
@@thebethedians that’s some class felony bullshyt
The ruling was that the ref "was thinking about blowing the whistle before he blew it" so that meant the play was dead right before you heard the whistle or the ball crossed. That had to be the dumbest thing I ever heard!?!
At 24 years old I remember every single one of these wow
This was my childhood unfortunately, looking forward to a new generation of Vols football
Watching this is hard but you know what I'm a VOL 4 LIFE BABY!!!
Loved this video as a UF fan but it is insane just how unlucky Tennessee got in some of these games.
Im here after Tennessee just beat Alabama!!
As a tennessee fan, I'm surprise it's not quite an hour long let alone ten hours long!
Wow I thought I had repressed all of this. So many of these games were lost on the incompetence of our sorry coaches. In a position to win. Have the higher probably to win. And yet shoot our own foot and lose.
I can hardly remember aside from last season a year in which we lived up to or our performed the talent on our roster. GO VOLS!
You forgot about some games. In 2017 a we had a Hail Mary come up 3 yards short against Kentucky and had 3 plays to score inside the 5 against USCjr and couldn’t get it in. And 2019 Alabama where Guarantano went rogue.
Those don’t count
@@beesting5693 why not? the first 2 should definitely count
He gotta be the worst QB ever
Oh my god that Missou game I would have been howling at my TV had I seen that
Somehow I had never seen that whole Missouri sequence that’s crazy 😂
I was there for that one and the game lasted forever because of that ending and everyone was wondering what was going on, including the refs.
This hurts 😭
Don’t need a video to remember these. They live rent free in the back of my mind.
WE DID IT BOYS WE FINALLY END THE PAIN
Not yet
South Carolina 😢
LMAO this didn't age well
@@kidzbop38isstraightfire92 Damn Right😂😂😂
Thank god.. GBO baby !!!
Been a fan since 06.. all I know is pain.
That hurt me to my heart to see Phil Fulmer have to resign. A great coach, a great mentor. Times just changed. It has become monumentally more difficult to coach nowadays. The kids are just so different today. Go Gators.
The amount of times that there were so many interceptions in overtime really has to say something about my Vols😭😭
I was there at the music city bowl, that one still stings.
Good Lord this is a lot of pain
As a Georgia fan all I have to ask is how in the world did you manage to get that BYU guy that wide open y’all had it in your hands
As a Dawg fan, we absolutely loved the likes Jarrett Guarantano and Derek Dooley! 😃
Man the Lane Kiffin and Derek Dooley montage brought back terrible memories
5:30 Was one of the worse calls by refs I have ever seen.
I used to not give him that hard of a time but guarantano by far one The worst quarterbacks we've had at Tennessee in the two decades.
An hour of pain
The next season so far has been pretty great for the Vols
2006 vs Florida and 2015 vs Oklahoma were the worst I ever witnessed
But we keep coming back. Go vols
Damn straight
Most loyal fans in the damn country🍊
As a Georgia fan that 2014 Mizzou loss for y’all was even more frustrating for us.
This staff will put it together
The A&M one pisses me off still, A&M played so dirty in that game.
Roll Tide to all these losses
8:16 BABAHHAHAHAHAHAHA STILL GET ME EVERY TIME 😭😭😭😭😭
49:03 that is the worst officiating I've ever witnessed in my entire life
As a Bama fan I love this video!
I do not hate UT I live in Tennessee but I love watching them lose.
Dereck Dooley was a horrible coach. His losing record ay La Tech was not a clue?
Strait trauma induced. I remember all of these & am now very concerned about tomorrow lol
That LSU game still gives me nightmares
How to condense 12 years of pain into 49 minutes.
Looks like they back 👀
I remember the Purdue call, they said the ref "was thinking about blowing the whistle" and so that meant the play was dead.
I don’t know bout y’all. I fast forwarded through the 2019 season
Have you ever seen a team so BAD at defending the deep ball when it's 3rd or 4th and long?
Look, a video of every moment of the past decade that I’ve considered jumping off a bridge
I'm watching this cause I like pain
Vols are #3 in the nation and Currently 7-0. I had to come back to bring myself back down a bit 😂 My how things have changed on rocky top!
And then we lost to SC and lost playoff chances
We’ve been soooo close so many times. Much of the reason the last 15 years has been so torturous.
But I’ll tell you one thing: Aside from Kiffin, who I think would’ve done really well if he stayed, Butch Jones was by far the closest. So close. Don’t know why the wheels fell off so badly, but he was inches away from turning us around. So folks can say what they want, but I won’t dog out Butch. It didn’t work out in the end, but he still gave his all for TN
I look for David Palmer to pull it out with a last minute punt return. Oh, wait…..
Such terrible plays to end these games. It looks like Tennessee tried their hardest to lose no matter the situation.
Yes, you can’t review the offsides. That got called regardless of Missouri touching the ball or not. That was going to get enforced no matter what.
21:04 me seeing us 11-2 last year
6:50 I dont care what the rule says, the fact that you can spike it with 12 guys on the field and it NOT result in a time runoff is an absolute travesty
We have been screwed so much over the years. We have been right there and almost made it. But keep tripping over and over. We may have finally figured it out.
As Lee Corso states “not so fast my friend”
Add South Carolina now
Go vols!
Alabama should have had a live ball foul. Excessive celebration with helmet thrown mid play. Should have had 15 yards and another kick
Tennessee just gonna Tennessee
If watching this ain't Stockholm Syndrome
GO VOLS
I love some pain therapy. But seriously that BYU kicker missed that kick.
As a Vanderbilt fan this gives me joy
Tennessee is going to checkerboard Vandy this year.
I see a lot of bad officiating in this video...none as bad as 49:03
2011 loss to Kentucky to end the streak, and the players quit
UCLA smacking them back to back years started this mess
Oh what could have been Lane
Only Tennessee
A lot dumb mistakes by the Vols BUT several dumb mistakes by the refs, too. It’s almost like the get flustered in. Neyland Stadium too
This hurts lol everytime you non tenn fans have no idea.
I can't watch no more man I getting mad as hell 🤣
Add a new one
I don't want to watch that crap, lived thru it ounce
Why tell me why please would you do this to me?
Some of these games, the refs gave the other team the win! Both Music City bowls should have been a UT win! Should have been a ten second run-off against North Carolina, and the running back was clearly not down against Purdue.
Tennessee definitely got screwed against Purdue…… however, probably because I’m a biased UNC fan I don’t think ut should’ve won the 2010 game. For starters you gotta remember the 10 second runoff wasn’t a rule at that time, so it was the correct call. Also, I believe UNC outplayed ut for most of that Game tho. Just my opinion
As a Tennessee fan, I hate this video!
Drooley lol
Kiffin wasn't a heartbreaker, glad that the thug is gone
you really are crying...the coaching changes werent heartbreaking you idiot. He just put it in the video so we know which coaches were the head coach at the time
Tennessee is used to it now they suck regularly 😂
Gonna have to add 1 in 10 days
Check again.
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 Tennessee: the school that was "almost".......dum enough to hire the man back who walked out on em in the middle of the night for U.S.C. Better hang on to Heupel and not start that "fire the coach" creedo of yours cause youre running outta people willing to come here. LoL
Shame I can only dislike this once.
This video is way too short. Go Gators!
Gators are looking great this year. Keep up the good work.
That call in the purdue game is still the worst call in history
Tennessee sucks. This video is great.
Check again.
