#HS175D #Review
I got a 175D recently. I read and followed the instructions and have not had any of the issues you had. Some things are not that intuitive but if you “fiddle” with it you figure them out. I think not learning the drone before posting a review is a disservice to the audience and the manufacturer.
It’s just not a very good experience and really you’d be much better off picking up a second hand DJI drone if you are on a budget. It’s just that a lot of people that are new to drones don’t really realise the difference between different drones. The bottom level for me is really DJI, Fimi and Hubsan. These are the only companies that make proper drones at a good price point. A proper drone for example needs the controller to communicate with the drone directly, not via the phone Wi-Fi. It needs to be stable in flight and hold its position without having to use the control to keep it steady. Why would anyone want anything other than that sort of performance. I found this drone to be almost uncontrollable in the air. It’s a bit fun to mess around with but if you wanted to film anything steadily you won’t have much of a chance. The footage quality was also poor.
@@StevesDrones since my last comment I have bought 3 HS157D’s and in the end I got fed up and now have a Dji Mini 3 Pro with the Professional RC
@StevesDrones I think these folks work for HS.
Always recalibrate it to go into gps mode. I have the same drone and I don’t have those issue. Unlocking the motors was a problem until I saw a video on TH-cam that showed a user pressing the go home button and that unlocks the motors then cal the gyro. You also have to make sure your connected to the holy stone wifi
It was beeping at you because you were in headless mode. When you long pressed the compass but it puts you in headless mode. Thanks again for posting your video.
says to calibrate both stick to lower left coners then both sticks to down and center to unlock the props
Yes what it says and how it works in practice is not always exactly the same.
Ok. The way to get it to start and take off you have to hold the return to home button on the remote for about 5 secs.
It’s just not intuitive though. The bar is set by companies such as DJI and Hubsan for usability and that either needs to be met or exceeded really.
I’ve recently bought the same drone and i’m struggling to get the drone in optical mode when outside the drone only stays in GPS anyone know the reason why ?
Everything works..you have to read the manual
Is toilet bowling in the manual? I didn’t spot it but it still did it. The baseline drones are DJI, Fimi and Hubsan. Maybe other will join them but not with this sort of product.
Sorry but not the best video. Maybe learn more about it before you fly it. I don't mean to be rude I appreciate your video and really like the drone✌🏼️
A good drone shouldn’t really need you to read the instructions in mega detail. It should be intuitive and this drone wasn’t.
The drone sucks.
You should really, really read the instructions before you do a review.
I did read it but like I said it should be intuitive and it wasn’t and it unfortunately didn’t behave consistently. Other reviewers have also had issues.
You should really, really, really shower before typing on the internet. This smells like you and Holy Stone do the bed tango.
The number of drone review videos I've watched where the reviewer shows so little respect for their audience that they don't even read the manual before wasting the viewers time as they fumble f**K their way through it. Yikes.
The manual isn’t much use in the case of this drone I’m afraid. Drones should also be largely intuitive. If you have to follow lots of procedures just to get it working it’s kind of poor design really.
You must work for Holy Stone. Yikes.
Nawl, son, the drone sucks. The drift is wild.
With all due respect, if you read the manual, first your video would have been much more informative… Happy flying
I did but it doesn’t mean what the manual says is correct.
