I would say sandals or slip on shoes are most helpful with a camper van. Keeps dirt to a minimum in the van, bathroom visits in the middle of the night, etc.

If you don´t like the weather in iceland just wait five minutes and it will change but generally great advice all you have to avoid is getting wet nd you´re fine. Expect like 10 degrees in summer around 0 in winter

Hey Paul- They're Lems MEN'S WATERPROOF BOULDER BOOT. They are the lightest weight boot I've found to easily travel with. I wouldn't use them for super long hikes as they aren't stiff enough, but for casual hikes they've been pretty awesome.
