山桜なんですよ！ 何のこと？ですよねぇ・・・ 私が懐事情で諦めた椅子は山桜の見事な椅子でした。木曾の工房の作品で 見事な曲線で 木肌の素晴らしさに虜になったんです。まぁ 未だに夢見てますが、なんでも手に入る今の時代に 手に入らず ほしいと思い続けるモノがあるのも いいことかなぁと思う歳になりました。枯れたんですかね（笑）
これだけの巨木となると洞ができるんですねぇ・・・木の種類にもよるでしょうが、洞の有無はともかく製材に最適の樹齢があるんでしょうね。小僧っ子は論外 枯れた老木もパスかなぁ、壮年の木は木目も素晴らしく油も乗って粘っこい・・・製材適齢期（笑）
この桜は丁度そんな適齢ではないでしょうかね。

A very pretty tree log! The operator is skillful and has plenty of knowledge for cutting this wood to get the best desired slabs from the cuts. This mill appears to be in good and well maintained condition. But the lack of the additional equipment to remotely manipulate, align and secure the logs for cutting really adds much time to the processing of this tree. Hopefully he can eventually be able to acquire the additional equipment and ease his workload to improve his productivity and income from his business. I found this a very interesting video to watch and see how this mill operator handled this cherry tree log.

このような製材作業のTH-cam動画ですが、ほぼ皆さま厚さは分かりませんが５㎝とか７㎝それ以上の厚切り作業を
目にしています。
製材業者様は何の製品用に製材されているのでしょうか？
材によってはテーブルばかりとは思えないし、あと建築、家具等しか思い浮かばなくて。
宜しければ教えていただきたいと思います。
