I play bass and guitar and basically know nothing about about synths but Ive been looking to buy my first synthesizer and I'm in between the Korg MS-20 mini and the Moog grandmother. I think, I will eventually have both but if you were to recommend one, which one would you suggest?
This tune is quite neat and it clearly illustrate how to use a synth as an effect. But in the same time, all the sounds, except the vocal, could also be achieved using only the synth. Could you explain why you chose the first solution instead of the latter?

I think I like the ESP a little better than the chiptune effect you use sometimes on vocals but it still has that interesting fuzzy feel.
