MayMay, so beautiful...I don't use my Explore or Cricut products enough, so seeing this makes me want to get it out and just make my cards again...Plus you make it so easy to understand. I am a visual learner..Your a very good instructor (I love hearing your southern voice too. I wish I lived back in the south again, but COLORADO is a good state too, my home state, but the south has my heart. I have never met kinder, more gentle laid back,, just good ole' folks, than when I lived down south and when I visit. + the kids are taught their manners.~my mothers side are southern.) but back to your video. Thank you so much. I subscribed and THUMBS UP!!!

Colorado is VERY BEAUTIFUL! I have been in all but 4 states,WA,ID, HI and Alaska but I can't remember their state ID (2 letters sorry)...every state is beautiufl in it's own way, but there is just something about the southern states. AR, AL, MS, GA, NC, SC, KY, TN, VA and I am sure I missed a few that I have been in ,several, but these states I love...Southern Hosptiitaly at it's finest...WE have always had a great time anytime we have visited these states.....and I do have to say, their are nice people everywhere. I just l like the southern states..where they still say Yes Sir, Yes Ma'am, thank you and such...MANNERS...I am old fashioned, my mother is from the south and taught us manners and I taught my kids manners, they are in their later 30's now but it is still nice to hear them from little ones, sometimes ya know'?

Maymay, you are a life saver! I just got my new Cricut Explore Air and struggled with it the whole first night! I don't do well reading & trying to figure out instructions. Do much better with demonstration & hands-on! Got up this am, headed over to TH-cam, found your videos & now I'm up & running! Thank you so much for taking the time to show me how to manipulate this machine. I think I'll enjoy it much more now!

It's sad because I have been scared to learn, I am 65 and have to watch over and over to learn, but I'm doing it. Thanks for sharing the videos, it REALLY helps this senior.. Hugs from Ohio..Patti

New to paper crafting and just got my Cricut yesterday. Was a little disappointed with Cricut Access - couldn't find a thing ("project") I wanted to make, but YOU, Maymay, are my hero! I made the beautiful doily cards along with you and now see that Cricut Access is in the eye of the beholder! I'm sure I'll love it now that I see how to use it.

I want to say thank you. Thank you for sharing and making these two beautiful lacy cards. They are gorgeous and I don't care that they are originally of a 2015 design. They are applicable to me and my family and friends today.
I appreciate that you went at a beginner pace, so a person can watch, learn, hear without the frustrations that I have found on some other TH-cam videos. They go too fast for someone trying to learn the position, steps and am able to take notes. I am sure once I get the hang of this, I can listen and whip through too, but a person needs to learn. And your natural sounding voice is smooth and pleasant to listen to. Thank you ma'am. I will enjoy to continually learn from you.

Hi, Maymay. I just ordered my Cricut Explore Air yesterday and my 6YO daughter, Pip, and I just watched this in anticipation of the Cricut's arrival. When we were watching you make the second card that folds on each side, she remarked how neat it would be to use butterfly or fairy wings. I can't wait to do that! These are lovely cards and I appreciate how clearly you explain everything.

I was very nervous about watching a 19 minute video (most people ramble) but you have a very pleasant voice. It was very informative and it did not drag on. I didnt have to skip through the video at any point because I was ao engaged. Before I knew it the 19 minutes were up. You went at a great pace. I cannot begin to thank you enough for this wonderful video. I have only recently purchased my Cricut Explore One and have spent many hours going through help/tutorial videos to find out how to do this type of project You know the old saying "you have to kiss a lot of frogs to get a Prince". I live in Sydney, Australia and am planning on doing my Son's wedding invitations, place cards, favour boxes etc. As Cricut is only distributed through certain craft companies there is a distinct lack of after sale support and due to the time differences hard to contact Cricut direct. SO once again thank you and I am now going to press subscribe :-)) as you are about to become my new go to person. With much appreciation. Catherine

I took out the subscription for one month at a time. That way if you don't know how much you are going to use it, you can give it a go over the month. I prefer to buy, then I get to keep, get a gift card instead of a subscription, but if you use your machine a lot, subscription by the year is better.
I love the lacy cards, must try them - too much going currently as I am now hooked on album making thanks to Maymay.

When I tried an intricate cut like this, it was not cutting through some of the tiny detailed areas. I had to set it for an intricate cut and two passes to get most of it cut well. Could it have been the type of cardstock i used? What type did you use in this project?

Beautiful cards! Instead of a white background what if you randomly color the white cardstock or acetate. That would give you a stain glass appearance. How cool. Hugs and prayers

DeNease Moore Great idea, you could even alcohol ink some acetate and use that as stained glass! Love the tip, thanks!

These cards are beautiful Amy. Thanks. I've been having the same blue-tooth problem. Probably should call Cricut, but it easier to just plug it in. lol Hugs and blessings.

Oh Maymay, I may be in a pretty bad position now! I'm wondering if my old Cricut Expression will work with Design Space, which I've never accessed. I've been away from scrapbooking for quite a while and didn't realize my equipment may not keep up with what's popular now. Is there still hope for me and my machine? We may be oldies, but I think we're still goodies!! Please advise...Thanks a bunch!

Maymay Please help! I have a cricut and I have purchased some A2 cards, how do I set the cricut up to write and draw on these cards? So desperate and frustrated! By the way, I love every video you have posted!

Great video. I, like others, would like to know what glue you are using. The bottle has the perfect dainty nozzle, unlike any others I've seen.

Awesome, great technique and you explained it very well. Could this be done with the E2?
